        from shiftrunstop Added 147 3 0

Various bits from this session will appear in the next couple of episodes of Shift Run Stop (www.shiftrunstop.co.uk), I imagine. Loads of great stuff, was hard to choose clips - we talked about all kinds of comedy and all kinds of games... and Leila holds a book up to camera for not quite long enough, as is becoming traditional. You'd do well to follow @aedison and @danielmaier on Twitter.

We also like him because, as you'll see, he let us play on his Megadrive. These days, internet celebrity Danny is renowned for his civil liberties campaigning (and for being very funny), but many listeners will recall that he used to edit the excellent weekly geek newsletter NTK with Dave Green, who now does the snacks segment on our show! In this episode, the old team reminisce about writing for geeks in the early days of the internet, and we find out what Danny's been up to since. This is the talk I did at Ignite London 4 (Feb 8th, 2011) plus a couple of SFX that were lost when I converted it into powerpoint for their computers! In reality, I love the Disney castle and I'm sorry I had to do this to it. But I didn't have a choice.

                      from shiftrunstop Added 247 2 0

Andy Riley is a comedy writer and comic artist, creator of the legendary Bunny Suicides series of books and Roasted, the geeky coffee shop comic that appeared in the Observer magazine until very recently. Often working with writing partner Kev Cecil, Andy has written for numerous highly-acclaimed comedy shows and performers, including Armando Iannucci and Miranda Hart. He was kind enough to illustrate some cassette inlay cards for us, too (seen in this video) so get in quick with a tape order if you'd like a piece of one-off art. The episode will go up in full on Thursday the 18th of March, over on Shiftrunstop.co.uk
