1. Cinema 4D Tutorial 29 - 'Low poly' theory

    from Sam Welker Added 35.5K 1,117 73

In this video I talk about creating the popular low poly look in Cinema 4D. My approach this time was to do a time-lapse of an actual creation then to add a voice over on top. I hope this works for all of you. If you have any questions feel free to drop them below or hit me up on twitter @samwelkertv. Disclaimer: I did get my wisdom teeth out earlier in the week and I am still a little out of it as a result. If you can't handle that, I apologize. Looking for inspiration? I've put together some links on my blog post pointing you to some good artists around the web: http://wp.me/p1PALB-7L

      • The Universe | Origins | A Video Feedback Triptych

        from Gon Caride Added 3,588 115 71

A Silence Please Productions Video Visuals & Concept: Gonzalo Caride Sound Effects and Music: Eduardo Vizan & Santa Santorum The project: This is an experiment with Video Feedback. After a lot of tests: trying, failing and trying again, we were able to create three independent clips that for us represented the origins, development and extinction of the Universe. Video Feedback is a medium that allows almost infinite options, and we wanted to create something different from the typical Video Feedback videos that you can find in the net (most of them very pretty but with a complete lack of meaning). We wanted to use Video Feedback as a medium towards storytelling. The three clips that compose this Triptych are shown exactly as we record them, no cuts, no effects... Straight from the camera. Just a fade-in and fade-out at the beginning and end to make them pace properly. All music and sound were composed by Eduardo Vizan and Santa Santorum and without their work, talent, ideas and support this project wouldn't exist. Feel free to comment and give us your impressions, it's the only way we can keep on improving. If you want, you can upload or add this video to any channel, group, blog or web page you want. This is for sharing, and we really appreciate when people like it and want to showcase it around the web. Hope you enjoy and thanks for watching. from Ignacio Osorio Added 13K 893 69

The Path is my Grad Project for the Digital Design program at VFS. It was inspired by a picture took from NASA's Hubble Space Telescope of one of the furthest galaxies ever seen, spotted crossing behind the Pandora's Cluster. The aesthetics came from a personal interest about the dimensions of the universe in terms of distance and time and the mechanics applied to it, making the universe a system of perpetual motion. Here is a link to the Case Study of the video: https://vimeo.com/125003711 If you want to know more about the picture, here is the article from NASA's Hubble Space Telescope website: http://hubblesite.org/newscenter/archive/releases/galaxy/2014/39/full/ Music by: Rameses B Memoirs (Cinematic Version FREE) https://soundcloud.com/ramesesb/rameses-b-memoirs-cinematic

Selected as Best California Film from 2013 California Film Awards Official Screening for 6th Kuala Lumpur Eco Film Festival 2013 Official Selection for Flagship city international film festival 2014 This Time lapse was filmed between May 2012 to May 2013. The overall goal of this time lapse is to provide the beauty of Joshua trees that only live in the U.S. I thought it would be amazing If I can collect all the footages of Joshua trees with different weather condition like snowing , different type of clouds, sun, moon ,milky way,and meteor shower. Joshua trees only live in western Arizona, southeastern California, southern Nevada, and southwestern Utah, which means that we can't see this trees in different countries but only in America. When I started this project, I read it on wiki page that "Joshua trees are one of the species predicted to have their range reduced and shifted by climate change.[14] There is some concern that they will be eliminated from Joshua Tree National Park and that this will damage and fundamentally transform the ecosystem of the park." After I read it, I thought it would be a good idea to record the beautiful Joshua trees before it is reduced or it might be gone from the park. Over the last year I was so happy and passionate making this project. now I would like to share my work with you guys. The equipment I used for this project Camera : canon 5d mark III Lens : EF 17-40mm f/4L USM, EF 24-70mm F2.8L USM, EF 135mm f/2L USM All photos are taken with RAW files and I did post processing with LR time lapse, Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. I used After Effects and Premiere for editing. What are Tags?

Tags are keywords that describe videos. For example, a video of your Hawaiian vacation might be tagged with "Hawaii," "beach," "surfing," and "sunburn."
