Computational Portraiture || with James George & Alexander Porter Spring 2015, iTP-NYU, Tisch Final Project **I used two spherical mirrors (aka magnification beauty mirrors), a LED lightbulb, and a Canon 5D. I also experimented with a tealight candle, half-silvered mirror, a blue lightbulb, and two LEE Gel/Filters Goal: I was trying to use the Schlieren technique, to photograph people's "auras" but ended up creating holograms in the lens and real-time light sculpting techniques, instead. Thank you to: •My instructors, and Rollin Leonard (Guest Critic) for being as excited as I was about this (and guidance, overall), •Francisco Ramirez for staying up until the wee hours and being an impromptu model & •Eric Rosenthal for pointing me in the right direction for the mirrors. A Teaser for a futur video based on the footages I took when I was in Sydney, Australia. Rhythm in videos is one of the most important thing to me. That's why I used part of the music "Espoir" from french DJ Darius, and edit it with Adobe Audition for this teaser. A maner to have a quick look at the city through my eyes. My Work : Shooting, Video & Sound Editor, Art Direction, Graphic Design, Color enhancement, Animation. Software used : Prelude, Illustrator, After Effects, Audition, Premiere Pro.+ More details
Interactive light sound installation. Hourglasses situated in a dark space. Detected by a motion sensor, the flickering light of the O=O is activated by passersby. Different lights have different moving sensors, so they are not activated all at the same time. The visitor has to move around the space to see whole piece. The sound of a children’s music box melody is heard throughout the space. The duality of the flickering light, reminiscent of something ending, and the melody of the music box – reminiscent of a beginning – creates a relationship of opposition as well as renewal. Project completed during a-i-r program of DordtYart in the Netherlands Presented at: ‘O=O’. Center of Polish Sculpture – Chapel Gallery. 2015 ‘Rock Paper Scissors’. Route Du Nord Festival. Roodkajpe Gallery. Rotterdam. 2014 ‘Ephemeros’. Cellar Gallery. Cracow. Poland. 2014 ‘DordtYart 2013′. DordtYart Art Center. Dordrecht Netherlands. 2013+ More details

Thought I'd take advantage of the candles and the fireworks so I took the A7s to church. Used the FE16-35 and the SAL28-75 both at F5.6 The first clip (the candles) was shot at ISO3200 All other clips were at ISO25600 Picture Profile 7: Slog2 Edited on Adobe Premiere and graded on Adobe Speedgrade, using the Fuji 125 LUT and toying with shadows, and magenta [my first grade on Speedgrade] No additional noise reduction used.
