Small personal project I got inspired to create starting from a greyscalegorilla tutorial I was watching. Using the dynamics and camera projection mapping skills I learned, I decided to play around and do something fun with typography. Soundtrack: Ta-ku - Long Time No See ft. I have a friend that has been bullied because of who he is. Everyone has the right to be who they are and should not fear because they might be different. I am a news junkie or maybe it's an keeping informed junkie. Hearing about events going around the world, makes our world so much smaller. Information can go live the moment it happens. It keeps me informed and aware that there is still good in the world and at times, and also sadness. I really love those stories where the hero comes in and saves the day with something so small. The hero never thinks anything about it, he or she jumps in without a thought, risking their own lives to save one. At times saving the day can just mean an act of kindness, thinking of others, and love. But, with the good stories, there is also the sad stories. What makes me sad more than anything else, is there is still Domestic Violence, Bullying and Hate Crimes. I am sure there is many more types of crimes against life, but, these three hit me harder than any others. We hear about that story, where a woman has been beat for years. So many times she reaches out for help, she goes through the red tape, reports her husband or boyfriend beating her up again. Or she is that woman that lies in the hospital making excuses for the broken bones, the bruises, just too afraid to say anything. Just about the time help arrives, the police get a call, her husband or boyfriend has shot her, and all their kids. How many times have we heard that story? What about the child, or the teenager that goes to school, and is bullied. They are teased, at times beat up, lies, and hate is spread out through different avenues of the media. Just as they think they can get away, messages of hate and criticism, is sent on Facebook, email and text. At school, messages are posted, girls giggle, point and stare. They excluded at lunch rooms and outings with groups. At times, it has gotten so bad, they have switched to many different schools, just to have the hate follow them. They feel like people do not understand, they feel like they can't talk to someone else, they feel like they are living in a personal jail, and they feel trapped. So trapped, unhappy, depressed, that they feel the only way out, is to take their lives. Then we have hate crimes, people not accepting other people, because they different, because they have different beliefs, because they practice a certain religion, they are a certain race, or because they prefer the same gender. What happened to people loving someone and accepting others for who they are? Why do we have to go around trying to fit everyone in the same box? If God wanted us all the same, he would have made us all the same. The whole reason why we are different is because we all have different interests, talents and we are here to help and love each other for who we are, not for what others wants us to be. It rips my heart out, it brings me to tears, to hear a women died because of her abusive husband. It rips my heart out to hear a 12 year old took her life, because those around her felt it was their duty to tell her she was ugly and had to beat her up, for being herself. It rips my heart out that others feel, a person has to fit in box, to exist so they can be respected and loved. There is help, there is love, and there is always a way out, that does not include taking your life or someone trying to take your life. You don't have to live like that, there is alternatives, and there is life and being happy. Every scene was hard for the actors, having to act with hate towards another actor. Some scenes were worse than the others, the actors were all touched and hurt at the same time by those who are really victims of these crimes. Everyone in this video was a great help. I really appreciate all the time, the patience that was put in by every actor in order to deliver a message. You deserve respect, because you are worth it, and because your human. And, there are no exceptions. Everyone, needs love. Music: Gray Knight Authorized by freeplaymusic.com
