Explore Canada Like A Local In late 2011 Lonely Planet produced a series of videos for the Canadian Tourism Commission. I was hired to shoot and direct these videos along with Lonely Planet Travel Editor - Robert Reid. It was just the two of us on the road, exploring Canada, and trying to capture theses cities, usually in under 48 hours. The videos were edited "inhouse" at LPTV Los Angeles. Featured in this episode are the Saskatoon Berry Barn, Farmer's Market, Wanuskewin Heritage Park and the board game Crokinole. See all of the videos here: http://www.lonelyplanet.com/campaigns/explore-canada/videos.php

Tegan Caffrey Kop describes travelling in 2010. We broadcast the entire event on LiveStream and asked everyone to participate by contributing their own review of tech in 2010 and predictions for 2011. Interestingly, the topic was broad and the participants were free to cover any aspect of tech- they choose to focus on the cultural and sociological impact of current digital technologies. In this part of the discussion the Tegan described her experiences travelling with an iPhone and Lonely Planet apps vs. traditional print media as guidebooks.
