So we have this process, called life, it's aware of itself, it's aware of itself through you, you are an instrument through which the Universe looks at itself. The Universe is looking at itself through you, and because of this there is always an aspect of itself that it can't see. Like a snake pursuing his own tale. We think of time as a one way motion from the past, through the present, and on into the future. We think that we are driven along the current of time. We think that present is the result of our past. Getting lost is the best way to find your own path. ... What happens now in Ulan Bataar, Beijing, Tokyo, Yangon, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Calcutta, Bombay, Tehran? Parallel dimensions are intertwining, that's what happens. Parallel dimensions that form the big parallelism called earth, around whom we spin overlapping, ignoring, judging. Next evolutionary step is to stay part of these dimensions, rejoice within and not let form overlap, not ignoring the energy and not judging any results. If nothing lasts forever, but everything is in constant changement, then also this journey in fact has no begin and no end, it's part of THE everything. No more a circle but a spiral, endlessly twisting To everybody his travel, to everybody his life. Enjoy. Without focusing on past or future anymore, without wasting energy in defining and labelling. An eternal present is surrounding us, forever, and it will always be. Music: Squarepusher This is part of a huge journey across Asia, more stuff at lostconversation.com/blog

... I joy in living private life with Iranians and see how they enjoy it! Evenings with persian traditional music played live at home, far from unwanted eyes where finally the veils fall down and we all sing and joke in happiness. We talk about poetry and freedom, dreams and life, God and revolution. Green is the colour of the revolution and green I see the future, green is in the heart of the people. Green. Green. Green. Green. Green. The warmness, hospitality and friendship of eveybody is overwhelming, I'm invited for hundreds of teas and relaxed pic-nics. Amazing Iran. These are Iranians by default standards, and foreigners deserve deluxe treat: everybody wants to make it clear that Iranians are not the evil depicted by medias, and I'm treated just like a son and I really feel at home. Hitchhiking, I easily move around the counrty, always submerged by edible stuff, and I finally reach Persepolis, the capital of ancient Persia that stole the heart of Alexander the Great who in turn stole everything else. Good or bad that was the point where Greek and Persian culture merged in a unique style, influencing culture and architecture of orient and occident. It's amazing to be inside the history, sweating out of stones. Music: Ochre Continues at http://losethemap.blogspot.com/2010/05/iran.html

...There are two types of people in the world: those who have been to India and those who haven’t. Never really cared about this thing told me somewhere some time ago, but after visiting Bombay, Calcutta, Varanasi and the most of this amazing sub-continent, i do strongly quote this. Travelling itself is an incredible experience, all countries are unique, but India, dear my friends, is the most awesome place on earth. If the Amazon forest is the lung of the planet, India is its soul. We are destroying our lungs and covering our soul with a new and out of place dress; right or wrong it might be, this is where we are going. But it’s ok man, no complaints. Positive and negative energy will keep on intertwining in an infinite loop. Everything is perfect, in its imperfection. I’m not scared, because as Buddha said before leaving this planet: “We have all the teachings we need, now it’s time to strive for our own salvation”. Of the two kinds of people describes at begin, maybe the former have some more instrument to understand and accept the present human condition, both in global and spiritual form. The latter probably don’t really care, rightly. Music: Shogun Kunitoki Continues at http://losethemap.blogspot.de/2010/05/north-india.html

In the shade of a Bonsai tree I trace back the Japan Adventure, I scratch my eyes to check if I’m still dreaming… Dreamland experience, metropolitan tale. It should have been 2 quick weeks, in the end I spent a month and a half in this enchanted world. Land of samurai, geisha, ninja, sumo fighters, zen Buddhism, yakuza and videogames, I fell in love with japan, I rediscovered the value of friendship and brotherhood, I twisted night and day and I left Tokyo I don’t even know why, a bit like "I leave you ‘cos I love you too much…" The expectations of japan had been totally fulfilled and they went further, after this journey into the future now it’s hard to go back to the present. What mostly charmed me about Asia is the juxtaposition between rich and poor, in Japan the axis moved to the dichotomy new-old, leaving somehow equal the balance soul-matter. The relationship human-robot led to several problems about identity and self-consciousness among themselves and towards the rest of the world; in recent years these humans evolved pretty quickly, whether still difficult to see what’s happened in those brains the Japanese seems to have find their harmonic balance between brains and gigabytes. Report Japan it’s hard because you end up writing usual stereotypes, all of them true, the one we learnt watching Anime cartoons when we were young… to try something new I slide the paper door, enter barefoot in the wooden restaurant, I pass through the eye-level curtains, I sit in front of the chef that welcomes me with a towel on his forehead and close eyes, he starts cooking at supersonic speed sushi, sashimi, tempura and teppanyaki; I place some wasabi on my plate and cheer up with sake and Suntory (the boss of them all) beer and coffee to the story of Japan in music...
