Dancing out of the dump Jessa Balote is a 14 year old girl who grew up in Tondo, one of the poorest slum areas in Manila, near a huge dumpsite. She couldn’t expect much from her future, but things changed in the last four years since she got a scolarship to join the Manila ballet school. She had never done any ballet but she was selected after an audition. It was tough in the beginning, but after some training she happened to be one of the best dancers of her age in the company and she now earns money from her performances and helps her family to have a better life. She dreams of becoming a ballet teacher. Faith Ann's circus themed 18th birthday. This was one of my favorite events to shoot this year. Ralph & Co really took it to another level and brought everyone to Hollywood for the night. In this edit I decided to throw everyone into the action already for the prep transitioning into the event itself. I gave her grand entrance a special flow with a remix of the song, back into the action and built everything up towards the awesome dance number. If you watch this video, watch it for the dance number! Camera A: Gina Reyes Camera B: Ryan Reyes Editing: Ryan Reyes Event by Ralph & Co Events

This is some raw footage I cut together from my first visit to Philippines. It was a total adventure. Spending 5 days in my Fiancée’s hometown of Carcar, Cebu was the highlight for me. It was like stepping into another World.

http://www.wipeeverytear.org/ Wipe Every Tear is about aggressively seeking out the hell-holes and neighborhoods of most desperate need, in the slums of Manila, Philippines, to bring hope and joy in the name of Jesus. We are about meeting the needs of orphans and widows to bring them love and comfort. We are devoted to going to the poor of this world and bringing happiness and joy, in meeting their most basic of needs. It's about rescuing the beautiful trafficked girls in the sex trade who are imprisoned to a life of hellish prostitution, and providing them a safe place of refuge, hope and grace. Wipe Every Tear is about changing the world and making a real and lasting impact to those who have no hope.
