2012, 2:29 min Boston, MA www.oniricaproductions.com The Art of Furniture class is a part of the Certificate Program in Furniture Design through the Professional and Continuing Education at MassArt. In this studio shop course, students initiate and are guided through a hands-on design/build project based on fundamental tenets of furniture design. The woodshop is a beautiful and grand space that inspires the students to get creative and produce unique furniture objects. Some students have returned several times to take advantage of the variety of tools and machines in order to make their own work. The class is co-taught by Judith Hansen, a sculptor and furniture designer, and Peter Thibeault, an industrial designer. Plus we added sound afterwards. (freesound.org, soundsnap.com, some electric sounds a sound design friend allowed me to use).
