                Here's a short 10 minute informal tutorial in response to a question asked in the forums at C4D Cafe. One of our members posted a video with animated rings in the form of a torus and asked how to do it with Cinema 4D. The tutorial shows how to create the torus, create the material using gradients in both the Colour and Alpha channels. How to animate the rings moving then how to skew the rings to make them appear to be a long continuous helix line.
