1. Shock Horror. Free fun. A moment or two of MONA art by Ian Buckland 2014

A little look at one of the great galleries on the globe. MONA. The place is a a quick snap by plane from Melbourne but an entire world away. It's hard not to be a fan. Though I found a critic with a view even more outrageous than Mathew Barney's gut-challenging epic, The River of Fundament. Bad publicity is the only publicity. Stand by. Steel yourself. I'd like to have a split personality so that I could go to MONA twice at the same time. The god of MONA David Walsh and me ... we had a chat about what is what in art. Our minds matched. We decided the word 'process' describes art best. What duality. It was a bit of a laugh when the penny dropped that we'd said process at the same time. Ian.

Made with 'throw-away' digital technology, and exploring themes of Italian Neo-Realism in a digital era, the film examines images' connection to meaning when the image is deprived of any corporeal existence and it exists only digitally.
