Our hands are capable of great things. We have built civilizations, traveled to space and journeyed to the depths of the sea. We have created great works of art that inspire and have even mapped the human gene. Yet, we often forget the simple ability our hands have to touch other people's lives. To build a house for someone who is homeless, relieve a person that is suffering or to simply play and bring joy. Every human has the ability and responsibility to reach out and take another person by the hand and help.

This summer, I traveled to Togo, West Africa. The video above is one that I worked on for the medical director of a local missionary hospital, as a way to show supporters a snippet of the people and ministry they are supporting in Togo. Words cannot describe the lessons learned from this trip, and I am forever grateful for the ABWE team in Mango and Tsiko, Togo. The memory from each one of these clips is still so real in my mind and I pray that this video pulls at you. The kids laughing at the beginning of this video... I have no words other than to attempt to explain that everywhere we went, we heard those giggles. More stories and images to come, but for now, enjoy this quasi-recap video. William and Nancy Potter,* IMB missionaries, found that until they met the physical needs of Southeast Asians around them, they were not open to the Gospel. After teaching national believers pre-natal care, churches began to pop up all over. The teachers took the Gospel and medical care out to the villages, reaching their own people.
