Kush Mahan is a current graduate student at Columbia University where he is pursuing his master's degree in global and public health. He is passionate about non-profit work and has volunteered at a number of nonprofits throughout his life. This video gives an overview of the nonprofit organization that Kush Mahan and a close friend recently co-founded, called MindBright Foundation. This organization is focused on making mental health care more affordable and accessible for those who are living in impoverished neighborhoods in New York City and are not getting the proper mental health care that they need. MindBright Foundation will aim to partner with larger nonprofit organizations that are also committed to mental healthcare in order to implement new programs that address the aforementioned issue. MindBright will grant funds to other nonprofits who are looking to implement new programs to improve mental health care, working alongside them to carry out the detailed plan they have put together for new initiatives. Check out this video to learn more about MindBright Foundation and how they work.
