I was in Ypsi when the Michigan Design Militia put on it's 1st Shadow Art Fair - it was called that because it takes place immediately after Ann Arbor's massive almost-a-week long art fair (in the shadow of)... After that, I was always in LA when the SAF was taking place... they have two a year, one in the summer, and one just before x-mas. I was crazy excited to be around this summer for the Art Fair - so I asked, Mark Maynard, one of the co-founders of MIDMI, if any of the vendors would mind me taping the day. This is the video I made :P it was just me all day, so I sadly missed a lot of the awesome bands that played in the brewery's backyard... next time I'll have to team up with someone to make sure I cover everything. I overheard several people during the day saying that this year's SAF was one of the best that they'd been to. I was really happy to be a part of it. It makes me happy to see the SAF still strong and kicking after 5 years. http://shadowartfair.com

Ethan King is a 15 year old from Michigan whose dream is to give soccer balls to kids all over the world. "Pass the Ball" chronicles Ethan's most recent trip to Mozambique with professional player Neven Subotić. Ethan and Neven not only donate new soccer balls but share how soccer can help cross borders and foster community. At just 10 years old, Ethan started his own charity to deliver high-quality, professional soccer balls to kids who could otherwise not afford them. Since then, Ethan has helped hand-deliver over 4,000 soccer balls to youth in need across the world. Many many thanks to Sappi Paper and their Ideas that Matter Grant for making this possible. *American Documentary Film Festival 2014 Official Selection http://charityball.org/ http://twitter.com/charityballnews http://www.sappi.com/ Directed by: Dress Code Producer: Veronica Balta DP: Adam McDaid and Andre Andreev Music/Sound Design: YouTooCanWoo Edited by: Dan Covert and Abdul Franklin Production Cordinator: Megan Potter Filmed with 2 Canon C300's

This is my first time lapse project, which took me 6 months to shoot all around the City of Chicago (from January to June 2013). This is a tribute to the time I spent as an exchange student (from Milan) in Chicago, "My home away from home", which were probably the best months of my life. I spent every day walking around the city, looking for the most beautiful places, and trying to sneak up to the top of as many skyscrapers as I could. I did everything I could to try and get the best shot, which was always an adventure! I tried to capture, in about 4 minutes, the magnificent architecture of this city, its amazing urban spaces, the power of its public transport network, and the vibrancy of all its people. Ultimately, I am trying to convey to those who will watch this video, just some of the experiences and emotions that I had during the best months of my life. //Gear: 400 GB of images shot by a humble Nikon d3100 and a simple 18-55 lens, with a Manfrotto MKC3-H01 tripod. // follow me on twitter @ludoberte https://twitter.com/ludoberte // follow me on instagram @ludoberte //follow me on facebook https://www.facebook.com/ludovicobertephotographer // website : http://ludovicoberte.wix.com/ludovicoberte Contact: ludovicoberte@gmail.com // Acknowledgements: “Foto Ottica Cavour”, Milan : http://www.fotootticacavour.it/ Time Lapse Italia : http://timelapseitalia.com/ // Music: Ludovico Einaudi - Fly (Vin's Teknils Remix)
