Artist statement: "Influenced by my previous work revolving the sentimentality of exotic fruit and also the exploration of my cultural identity, this piece is the juxtaposition between the methodical slicing of a pomegranate fruit and of thought-provoking, incomplete conversations I had recorded over the past few years. The video attempts to repose the viewer’s eyes and allow the audio to stimulate the audiences’ mind."
