Take a look behind the scenes with my Miller AIR tripod during a recent mountain bike shoot named 'Woodhill Rush'. - https://vimeo.com/100839237 The advantages the Miller AIR brings me is substantial, the main thing for me is weight, every time I go out I have to carry around a tripod strapped to my backpack full with another 15kg of camera equipment, and every time I strap the AIR on I can barely tell it’s there. Having such a perfect fluid head without substituting for a full body tripod is just incredible, it really allows me to work in the run and gun mode that action sports cinematographers are so used to, I simply unclip, spread the legs, slide the camera in and I’m ready to shoot in under twenty seconds. This speed is quite important when you’re dealing with unforeseeable lighting conditions and locations you haven’t looked at until the shoot day. My main camera was a SONY FS100 w. Canon EF Glass, my Steadicam & Slider Camera is a CANON 70D. External footage & Images shot by Cameron Mackenzie

Veterans Expeditions is a nonprofit organization that creates community among veterans of all ages through wilderness and expedition experiences. It's unique in that it was formed by vets and is funded by vets. We worked with them on a 3 day trip through the Browns Canyon Wilderness Study Area, an area in Colorado being considered for wilderness/monument status. It's an area that these vets support and want to protect. We've been using the Miller Tripod 2030 System on this wilderness trip and in our project with VetEx. www.vetexpeditions.com and www.millertripods.com
