This park features rugged cliffs, secluded sandy beaches, coastal plains, streams, canyons, and hills, including 1,347-foot Valencia Peak. Naturalists and backpackers enjoy the solitude and freedom found along the park's trails. There are also mountain biking and equestrian trails. The best-known beach is Spooner's Cove, across from the campground. The park's name, "Mountain of Gold," comes from the golden wildflowers that bloom in spring. Wildlife in the park includes black tailed deer and the black oystercatcher. The park includes primitive and equestrian campsites. Music: Sunday Drive by Silent Partner

The actual Trail was insanely beautiful. It wasn't that technical, though a few parts of it left you by the side of a cliff. I didn't have a specific direction for my editing, so I used a PRESET iMovie Trail and just went with the flow of it. (I was being lazy, so the trail was a lot simpler to edit and finish.)

For my birthday, my wife took me to San Luis Obispo and we found Montana De Oro State Park. It was quite beautiful. A few months later, we returned and I brought my mountain bike. (See later video on it.) At this point, I decided not to bring my GoPRO, so my wife followed me in the car with our Point and Shoot. It was a fun ride. I used iMovie and Vimeo music for the edit.

Robert Frost reciting in1923. Montana De Oro, CA. Nature's first green is gold, Her hardest hue to hold. Her early leaf's a flower; But only so an hour. Then leaf subsides to leaf. So Eden sank to grief, So dawn goes down to day. Nothing gold can stay. Filmed at Montana de Oro State Park, CA.
