Follow on: https://facebook.com/TSOphotography for more photos, videos and updates. This was filmed between 4th and 11th April 2011. I had the pleasure of visiting El Teide. Spain´s highest mountain @(3718m) is one of the best places in the world to photograph the stars and is also the location of Teide Observatories, considered to be one of the world´s best observatories. The goal was to capture the beautiful Milky Way galaxy along with one of the most amazing mountains I know El Teide. I have to say this was one of the most exhausting trips I have done. There was a lot of hiking at high altitudes and probably less than 10 hours of sleep in total for the whole week. Having been here 10-11 times before I had a long list of must-see locations I wanted to capture for this movie, but I am still not 100% used to carrying around so much gear required for time-lapse movies. A large sandstorm hit the Sahara Desert on the 9th April (http://bit.ly/g3tsDW) and at approx 3am in the night the sandstorm hit me, making it nearly impossible to see the sky with my own eyes. Interestingly enough my camera was set for a 5 hour sequence of the milky way during this time and I was sure my whole scene was ruined. To my surprise, my camera had managed to capture the sandstorm which was backlit by Grand Canary Island making it look like golden clouds. The Milky Way was shining through the clouds, making the stars sparkle in an interesting way. So if you ever wondered how the Milky Way would look through a Sahara sandstorm, look at 00:32. **To all those affected by the earthquake and tsunami. You are in our thoughts and prayers. We wish for the safety of you all.** Japan is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. This is my Japan. This is one of the many reasons why I love Japan. I shot this in many locations around Japan in the summer of 2009. Some of the location include Tokyo, Matsuyama, Imabari, Nagano, Gifu, and Ishizushisan. I started this as a personal project to try and capture the beauty that I see in Japan. It started as just that... But now that I have finished, I see it only as a beginning. This video, along with SAIJO MATSURI (www.vimeo.com/7458088) is just the start of a much larger project that I have now decided to do. Anyone interested in helping fund/produce this dream of mine please feel free to contact me: brad@bradkremerfilms.com So I hope you enjoy this preview of what is to come in the future. "Hayaku" definition: Hurry up Camera: Canon 5DMKII Additional equipment: Mumford Moco Music: Royksopp - Triumphant The Album Leaf - Window Edit: A very big THANK YOU to all the amazing comments from everyone! It is a great feeling to have one's work appreciated and possibly to inspire. Domo Arigatou!

A film Directed/Written by Dan DiFelice 1st Unit Director & DP Andy Catarisano Score Salomon Ligthelm Sound Design Salomon Ligthelm Colorist Matt Fezz Visual Effects Dan DiFelice & Renato Marques Lead Talent Jon Prensner Boy Evan Slavens Grandfather Nelson Padgett Climbing Double Nate Grimm & Jon Caughlin Narration Peter Batchelor 2nd cams Jimmy Gable & Dan Mancini Special Thanks: Brian Harrison, Joe Kirdendall, Bobby Mikulus, Tim Dumais, Devin Smith, Nate Gonzalez Commissioned by our client, A/G NYM, we were charged with the task to create a short film based around theme "Finish(ed)" - the idea of overcoming the immediate while pressing on in the greater journey. It was filmed on site for 10 days in Colorado with Andy Catarisano leading the shoot and Jon Prensner feeling the cold burn of antiquated hiking gear. This project was conceptualized around a year ago, and the cast/crew did an exceptional job in bearing both sub-zero temperatures as well as the burden of time that a project can take. After an initial delivery 3 months into the project, the team charged through and pulled off sets of revisions to bring this piece to the place it deserved to be, so massive thanks to everyone. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. Psalm 46:2-3 The principle runs through all life from top to bottom. Give up yourself, and you will find your real self. Lose your life and you will save it. Submit to death, death of your ambitions and favourite wishes every day and death of your whole body in the end: submit with every fibre of your being, and you will find eternal life. Keep back nothing. Nothing that you have not given away will be really yours. Nothing in you that has not died will ever be raised from the dead. Look for yourself, and you will find in the long run only hatred, loneliness, despair, rage, ruin, and decay. But look for Christ and you will find Him and with Him everything else thrown in. C.S. Lewis

This little video was shot at Powder Mountain, a ski area in northern Utah. Pow mow flies below the radar as far as utah resorts are concerned, which is fine by me! This place is all about getting your pow turn on with your buddies, all day. Shot on a 5DmkII, handheld, with a 15mm fisheye. Tried to capture the feeling of shredding a resort on a typical utah pow day. Music is Jungle Lion by Lee "Scratch" Perry

From Daejeon to Seoraksan to Busan to Seoul. Our S.Korea road trip last October (2010). I'm happy to see that so many people in South Korea have shared this video. I really wanted to show South Korea's beauty to people that are not familiar with it, but it's great others back in S.K. find it to be a heartfelt look into their country. My parents live in Daejeon. You can checkout my dad's photography of Korea here: http://photoarttoday.blogspot.com/ For more S.
