This video is Ophiuchus Pictures' entry in the 72 Film Fest competition which is held annually in Frederick, Maryland. This year, each competing team was given a script selected from the Frederick 72 Script Fest competition (June, 2012) and within 72 hours had to submit a completed adaptation based on the script. Our story was "Night Walk," a film noir tale written by David Ebri. We made every effort to faithfully express every detail of the script. To emphasis the dark and foreboding character of the story, we shot many scenes at high and low angles and included moving shadows in both the foreground and background. This video was entered in the student category. The cinematographer, director, and many of the actors are full-time students.

Our year 7 and 8 students had the privilege of learning from Chris and Elai from the Outlook for Someday. They learned all about sustainability in some of it's forms. The next step was learning about how to include some of these themes/ideas in a movie. Our team of students are currently working on movies to submit in this years movie competition. Check out what they made in a very short time with the guidance of Elai and Chris. Special thanks to the Outlook for Someday and their tutors Elai and Chris. It was a day of impact in terms of learning, creating and sharing for us here at PES.
