I don't know exactly why, but for some reason I became possessed this summer with the need to get out of bed at 5am, and hike up on Mt. Tam to watch the sunrise. Every once in awhile I was able to convince some dear friends to come along. Another visit to Mount Tamalpais State Park on a Sunday evening. Trying to learn more from the frequent visits about the mysterious marine layer. Still as amazed as the first time i experienced. Mount Tamalpais SP Mill Valley, CA & San Pablo Bay Selby, CA August 20 & 21, 2011 Takk... by Sigur Rós on Takk... Another trip up to Mount Tamalpais State Park. Didn't even make it to the top this time. We just came around a corner and saw this amazing cloudscape, yelled out expletives, and proceeded to set up tripods. This stuff does little justice to the moment, but i don't think anything could have. Usually I try to clean up any skips and jumps, but I liked how they worked with the music. Very simple concept here, but one that captivates me with greater and greater force the more time I spend on this glorious planet... just being in nature with someone you care about.
