Canon 6D, ISO: 5K, Shutter: 3.2sec, Aperture: f/5.6, Kelvin 5200, 1 shot per 5 seconds. ISO 3200 would have worked, but I was trying to get a deeper star field. Had to darken it in post to cover some of the noise. Had the battery grip on with 2 genuine Canon batteries installed and after 3.5 hours, still showed full charge, and that was at -6 degrees C. I shot one of these with a shot every 10 seconds and it was too jerky, I think 5 seconds is fine.

Worked as office until 6pm. Then took the JR line to Shinjuki station and from there the direct bus to station number 5 (bus takes 2h). Arrived at 9.30 pm and started to climb at 10pm. Reached the top at 3am so had plenty of time to wait for the sunrise at about 4.25am.

This is our journey through the lights of Tokyo, a climb up the volcanic trail to the summit of Mount Fuji, getting lost in the magical bamboo forest and eerie red shrines of Kyoto, finding humility in Nara at the feet of the giant Buddha, and witnessing a best friend's wedding in Osaka. Chris filmed most of the footage on a Canon t4i and edited with Final Cut Pro X. Yes, he likes jump cuts. Shannon, the beautiful model featured throughout, provided some footage, the graphics, and the audio (at least the suggestion). The song is Osaka Loop Line by Discovery -- nice, isn't it? Cameos by old and new best friends, with a special congrats to Sungdae and Eriko on their matrimony. If you like, share and thumbs up below! Any feedback from you filmmakers out there would also be most welcome, as we will be creating films about upcoming travels in SE Asia and Europe and are always looking to improve. :) And if you really really like, you can subscribe to this channel and get the new ones as soon as they're uploaded! We have a new 5D3 to play with for our next videos, so hopefully image quality will be that much better. And after we get all that precious feedback from the community, hopefully we can smooth out other aspects as well. Best, C+S Oh, and any ideas how to promote videos on here, we're all ears! Thanks! Tags
