http://www.sonokinetic.net/products/classical/toll Way back when, when Sonokinetic was in its infant stage, we recorded two carillons and turned them into a simple kontakt instrument. Ever since, we have felt the urge to revisit that, and do it with the knowledge and experience we have gained over the past years. That time has come, and this time it is not just a carillon, but a large collection of different sized bells, from various periods and places of origin. Each hit on these bells will spark a very unique and authentic sound that can only be generated by pure weight and age. Sonokinetic sampled historical valuable bronze cast bells as old as a 1000 years, proceeded through the ages of innovation in bell casting and tuning and ended in our time of hi-tech computer calibrated pitch perfect bells, and sampled all of those with great attention to detail, preserving their original tails of up to 30 seconds. The swiss pocketknife of the collection is the Carillon, sounding just amazing!
This is the best pitched and sound callibrated Carillon you will find. Originally cast by the foundries that made the new bell in the Notre Dame in Paris, the Olympic Games 2012 bell and several renowned carillons all over Europe. Where Sonokinetic Mallets is there for your subtle orchestral needs, this product will literally blow you away, and make everything sound epic and Majestic, and add a weight to your compositions, pun intended, in a way that not many instruments are able to. It’s just amazing when you think of it, that you can now have things like this in your composing arsenal, complete church organs, orchestras and clocks weighing thousands of kilos, on a laptop or desktop computer, literally at your fingertips. All samples for this product are recorded and sampled in 24bit 96Khz, and all processing is done in that resolution, after which we converted them to 24 bit 48Khz, making a convenient package of just over 3 GB. Over a timespan of more than a 1000 years of production, assembly, usage and preservation this very unique collection of bells are sampled here for the fist time and offered to you in an original Sonokinetic library. Sonokinetic climbed a cathedral, risking permanent hearing loss, to capture the original sound of 6000kg heavy cast bells that sound from the Dutch Saint Johns Cathedral and traveled back in time to ancient Dutch Glory of the Golden age in the 16th and 17th century where the production of tower bells was perfected. Toll covers bells from European countries like Belgium, France, Germany and the Netherlands, and an in depth study and recording of South-East-Asian ceremonial bells covering ground from Vietnam to China. We believe in offering very high-quality sample libraries at very attractive pricepoints. Thank you for joining us in making that a reality! We wish you the best inspiration and creativity.

The accordion is an instrument that has been on our ‘to do’ list for quite some time. The instrument can provide you with a very nice 'couleur locale' whenever you need to give a song that French twist. The accordion brings a breath of fresh air and evokes feelings of romance, passion and nostalgia. As with other Sonokinetic instruments, we focused on getting a 'real' sound instead of a 'perfect' sound, as you can hear from the demo tracks skilfully created by our demo composers. We are very proud of the finished product and believe that it will empower lots of people to make MIDI recorded accordion tracks that sound like they were played under a bridge along the river Seine. http://www.sonokinetic.net/apps/sleighbells/ https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/sleigh-bells/id741328949?ls=1&mt=8 Sonokinetic brings you this jolly app, with HQ recorded sleighbells, and the most intuitive and beautiful User Interface in the App Store for this kind of app. This is a universal app, that looks as good on the ipad as it does on the iphone, with full retina graphics all around if your device supports it. Need Sleighbells to set the mood, shake away your woes or to accompany your caroling? You can’t do any better than these. Recorded and produced by the Sonokinetic team responsible for high end audio productions like ‘Minimal’ and ‘Toll’, to name a few, this app is no toy. The sounds are the same that are used in the Kontakt virtual Instrument that is produced for use by professional media composers. Included in the app are 6 different sleighbells, all with enough different samples to avoid obvious repetition (19 different hits per bell). The instruments used are sorted by number of bells attached. you can play them separate or all together, there are two ways of playing the instrument; shake or tap, switchable with the little switch in the right hand bottom corner In Tap mode, the pads operate as touch drumpads, just tap any of the six pads to hear it’s bells ring. Tap mode would be advisable for precision playing, and for keeping your device in one piece. You can vary the velocity of the sample playback by tapping either lower or higher on the button, the low end of the button is the loudest, the higher up the softer it will sound. In shake mode, you can turn on the bells you want to play with the 6 big buttons on the main screen, and when you gently shake your device, you will be able to get a jiggly rhythm going. (you can use two devices for cool polyrhythms too of course, if you have them available) Note that very subtle playing is not possible in the shake mode, due to limitations inherent to the way accelerometers work. Shaking on the beat to complement your caroling will be perfectly possible though. They are - 25 bells - 21 bells - 17 bells - 13 bells - 6 bells - 1 bell Designed for Apple iPhone Apple iPad by Sonokinetic B.V We feel that we’ve produced the ultimate carolling companion with this app and we hope it will bring you happiness and joy!

http://www.sonokinetic.net/products/ethnic/yiddish Sonokinetic specializes in in-depth musical history heritage exploration since 2008. With “Yiddish” we finally fulfill our premise to capture part of the Jewish music culture and complement our signature sampling line with this very recognizable musical style. Different from the mystical Sephardic “Voices of Israel” and our cross-over to the Yemenite style, “Yiddish” brings a more Jewish-European oriented style which found its roots in the high-german and Ashkenazi language.
This library is a very specific and authentic representation of its promised title. This niche in ethnic sampling music hasn’t been covered before. With “Yiddish”, Sonokinetic BV is very proud to present to you a continuation in our proven concept in vocal cinematic performance sampling. You can expect the same dedication to high-end sample quality, software performance, instrument handling and documentation. The collection will fulfill your professional media-scoring needs when working within this thematic color, style or genre. We hope you will let this breathtaking musical performance and dramatic cinematic vocal fx collection inspire you and show you new compositorial ways. While in ‘Voices of Israel’ (and Yemenite too in a way) we have shone a light on one side of Israel’s musical culture, the diversity of styles available in that part of the world and the very particular flavour of this one impelled us to musically revisit Tel Aviv, and employ producer Hagai Davidoff to find and record a Yiddish vocalist for us. As we have worked with Hagai before on ‘Voices of Israel’ and ‘Yemenite’ we knew we could count on him to come up with a great performer, and he found her in Rahel Jaskow. Very adept in this particular historic style and a veritable encyclopaedia of little-known facts of Yiddish culture and music, Rahel was the perfect choice to cement this musical heritage into a composing tool for the rest of us. Rahel picked the 10 stunning royalty free songs and the 4 poems that comprise the product, and she improvised an improvisation section and Fx section to match. Again Sonokinetic sticks with its unbeatable pricing module and high quality sampling standards. This is an absolute giveaway and hard to resist library if this is what your project needs. We’re proud to release “Yiddish” and let her spread the inspiration of the Yiddish female vocal sound and the rich culture that is Yiddish folklore music. We again push the limit trying to capture the magic of very particular music styles with this wide selection of easy to use vocal performances and fx samples, and in doing so providing you the possibility, when need arises, to compose in true Yiddish fashion and blow away your clientele with tracks containing truly professional sounding vocals. www.sonokinetic.net/sleighbells/ Q: What does every Christmas track need but has been sadly overlooked by most sample developers? A: Sleigh Bells Q: What are Sonokinetic going to do about it? A: Program a ridiculously comprehensive collection of tempo-synced sleigh bells and give it to you for FREE as an extra special xmas gift. Sonokinetic brings you this treat, free for anyone to enjoy, but no less powerful than our paid-for libraries. We figured it’s a time for giving presents, and we wanted to thank all of you for the 5 years you kept Sonokinetic going strong, and growing to the company it is today…Thank You! So for this special package, we donned our comedy Santa hats and recorded 6 different sizes of sleigh bells, ranging from just one bell to a 25 bell stick. The samples were captured using apogee hardware and a violet audio flamingo stereo microphone. We’re providing loops in two tempi. Using Kontakt’s Time Machine function and our in-house developed ITM (Intelligent Tempo Mapping) the loops will adapt to your carol seamlessly. We have captured two meters (3/4 and 4/4) and two feels… straight(ish) called ‘trot’ and a shuffle-feel ‘gallop’ which Rudolph tells us keeps him in perfect sync with the other reindeer. We’ve also captured a sleigh full of single hits, to create a set of round robins for maximum realism… that’s between 23 and 41 different hits per instrument. The interface is themed around an advent calendar (what else?!) You can open doors by either clicking them, or playing any of the keys associated with that door. The numbers refer to the number of bells of that particular sleigh bell, and in number 0 there is a general options field. Did we mention it’s free? Please help us spread the holiday spirit by telling all your friends and family (or at least the ones that own a full version of Kontakt and know how to use it). We might be a bit early, but we figured you were gonna need this for your Christmas composing, which is happening right now. So enjoy, and until the next release God rest Ye all…

http://www.sonokinetic.net/products/ethnic/qanun/ Sonokinetic is proud to announce this library of a multisampled and performance sampled Qanun. This instrument complements our other Arabic instruments such as Ney and Kemence to build an ethnic ensemble. The Qanun has been played for centuries and feels right at home in our collection of deep sampled ethnic instruments and vocals. The Qanun (also known as Qanoun and Kanun) is a dulcimer or zither-like instrument of 81 strings stretched over a frame and plucked with the fingers or picks. Its distinctive tone comes from the grouping of strings and levers which create the scales. Our Qanun was recorded in Istanbul by our long-standing friend, expert engineer and composer Ceyda Pirali in high fidelity audio quality. The player is the renowned performer Gunay Celik who learnt his craft at the State Turkish Music Conservatory. He studied the playing styles and techniques for many years before becoming a master in 1992. He taught Qanun at university level and has played with the İstanbul University Ensemble and Ayangil Turkish Music Orchestra. His credits also include many performances with Turkish radio and television. Currently, Gunay is working at the State of Turkish Classical Music Ensemble. He has kindly agreed to allow us to capture his unique playing style with traditional songs and hundreds of improvisations. For the multisampled playable instrument we have captured multiple round robins and velocity layers so that you can play the instrument chromatically. For the improvisations and songs, Sonokinetic Qanun features tempo-synced performances in root keys. These samples are wrapped in an intuitive interface which makes playing this instrument a pleasure. In addition, the convolution reverb creates an unparalleled ambience, evoking the spirit of Arabia. Sonokinetic has established a name as one of the best value & quality sample producers and with this product we’d like to underline that statement. We stick with our unbeatable pricing module and high quality sampling. We wish you the best inspiration and creativity.
