Fast, frantic flying with my Scarab Knife through bushland! This was a lot of fun, lots of crashes and getting stuck on branches, but I love a challenge :)

Enjoying a sunny afternoon at my local flying field. The vibrations in this video are caused by a dodgy motor bearing which I've since replaced. Starting to get a feel for the hexicopter now!

A few people asked about the footage from the Quad - so a few bits of video strung together from Palm, Culburra and Oxley Beaches in NSW Australia. Out-take from Palm beach at the end. Shot from a MultiWiiCopter QuadOcta airframe - sadly no gimbal.

What can I say, my dad likes to do dangerous things. No safety harness. No helmet. Just freestyle. I think he is turning 60 this year. Before his ascent we discussed the possibility of him being struck in the face by the Multirotor camera rig and falling to his death. He seemed confident that he could take a Heli to the face and not loose it so we went for it! My daughter Ava was his side kick on the project. I think after watching this video you will realize where the Lohne Family tendency for getting into extreme situations originates from. Please don't try this at home. Definitely not a smart move.

The Luberon or Luberon Massif (Provençal Occitan: Leberon in classical norm or Leberoun in Mistralian norm), also called Lubéron, has a maximum altitude of 1,256 m and an area of about 600 km². It is composed of three mountain ranges: (from west to east) the Little Luberon, the Big Luberon and the Oriental Luberon, lying in the middle of Provence in the far south of France. The valleys north and south of them contain a number of towns and villages as well as agricultural land. The total number of inhabitants varies greatly between winter and summer, due to a massive influx of tourists during the warm season. It is a favourite destination for French high society and British and American visitors because of the pleasant and picturesque towns and villages, comfortable way of life, agricultural wealth, historical and cultural associations (e.g. Samuel Beckett lived in Cave Bonelly, a vineyard near to Roussillon during World War II), and hiking trails. In the 1970s, people came from all over France to "Le Luberon" in search of a communitarian ideal. In the last two decades the Luberon has become known in the English-speaking world especially through a series of books by British author Peter Mayle chronicling his life as an expatriate settled in the Luberon village of Ménerbes. One of Mayle's books was made into a film A Good Year (2006) directed by Ridley Scott, starring Russell Crowe and filmed in the region.

A more indigenous genre of bullfighting is widely common in the Provence and Languedoc areas, and is known alternately as "course libre" or "course camarguaise". This is a bloodless spectacle (for the bulls) in which the objective is to snatch a rosette from the head of a young bull. The participants, or raseteurs, begin training in their early teens against young bulls from the Camargue region of Provence before graduating to regular contests held principally in Arles and Nîmes but also in other Provençal and Languedoc towns and villages. Before the course, an encierro—a "running" of the bulls in the streets—takes place, in which young men compete to outrun the charging bulls. The course itself takes place in a small (often portable) arena erected in a town square. For a period of about 15–20 minutes, the raseteurs compete to snatch rosettes (cocarde) tied between the bulls' horns. They do not take the rosette with their bare hands but with a claw-shaped metal instrument called a raset or crochet (hook) in their hands, hence their name. Afterwards, the bulls are herded back to their pen by gardians (Camarguais cowboys) in a bandido, amidst a great deal of ceremony. The stars of these spectacles are the bulls, who get top billing and stand to gain fame and statues in their honor, and lucrative product endorsement contracts.
