http://julesolder.com, Somehow, through a mix of personal diplomacy and mutual admiration, San Francisco's Legion of Honor persuaded the Louvre to lend it treasured items that never, ever left Paris. The result? Royal Treasures from the Louvre. On exhibit through March17, 2013

OVERVIEW: For more than 80 years Woodhorn was a coal mine, until 1989 when it became a museum. Following a major redevelopment in 2006 Woodhorn Museum, Archive & Country Park re-opened with new interactive exhibits. The museum houses the Northumberland archives which cover over 800 years of the county’s history and provide an amazing record of the past. The interactive kiosks at Woodhorn Museum are aimed at helping young users unlock information from the museum archives, build their own banners, and decipher old documents. Fun and quirky gameplay encourages child interactivity by building your own banner. Other programs provide in depth information for the adult user. ROLE:
I created three exhibits for the re-opening of Woodhorn Museum. Two directly aimed at children which involved bringing the information to life with gameplay, and a third aimed specifically at adults, teaching them how to effectively ‘unlock’ the Northumberland archives. “For centuries, men wore stickpins to secure their elaborate scarves, which provided warmth for the neck while also acting as veritable bibs; the modern tie and tie pins are their successors. these stickpins were often a statement of individuality, sporting exotic stones. This collection of 33, once owned and wore daily by my grand dad and father, (Albert E. Betteridge, I and II, respectfully) exemplify the tradition.” - Terry Betteridge

This project was a midderm assignment for my basic video editing class. The subject was to take some footage from Istanbul Archeological Museum and edit it. Unfortunately when we went to the museum we learned that using tripods are prohibited. Also the lighting of the museum was fairly dim and not good for my mini-dv camera. As a result most of my footage was shaky. I tracked to decrease the shakiness but I couldn't save much. Then I came up with an idea that to edit it according to the rhythm as well as I can, and selected a limping music. So this was what I got at the end. footage: mini-dv editing: Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 compositing & sfx: Adobe AE CS3 audio editing: Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 starring (the two people climbing up from the stairs of the museum): Me & my friend Firuze Kiraz completed in: November 2008
