First test with CANON Eos 600d / Rebel T3i in low-light. Lens: EFS 18-200 mm f/3.5-5.6 IS. Standard settings. 25 fps. No extra mic. No tripod. I used a shoulder-support. Location: Museum of Natural History - Brussels. It's my first experience with DSLR-filming. My first impressions: Image quality is good, better in low-light than my Sony FX7 camcorder. More difficult to handle than a traditional camcorder. DOF is great! Conclusion: I will use it for still photography in the first place.

Durango was founded by the Denver & Rio Grande Railway in 1879. The railroad arrived in Durango on August 5, 1881 and construction on the line to Silverton began in the fall of the same year. By July of 1882, the tracks to Silverton were completed, and the train began hauling both freight and passengers. The line was constructed to haul silver & gold ore from the San Juan Mountains, but passengers soon realized it was the view that was truly precious. This historic train has been in continuous operation for 131 years, carrying passengers behind vintage steam locomotives and rolling stock indigenous to the line. Relive the sights and sounds of yesteryear for a spectacular journey on board the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad. Sony RX100II Manfrotto 560B Monopod Benro S2 Head MagFilter Polarizer

Award-winning Typo-Animation that gives you a clear impression of the enormous amount of visual stimuli that plague us every day. Due to the immense scale of the visual bombardment, the commercial effectiveness has become utterly dubious. facebook: http://tinyurl.com/6jwvrbd | twitter: http://tinyurl.com/4525grg | youtube: http://tinyurl.com/6e635er | film annex: tinyurl.com/7e6tmee

From the East Fjords to the Southern Shore of Iceland A journey along the East Fjords to the South Shore of Iceland. We start at Bustarfell Museum near Hofsárdalur, Vopnafjörður, which is on the north-east coast of Iceland. Then we see some of the huge falls, especially the Hengifoss, Iceland's second-highest waterfall. The layers between numerous Tertiary lava strata yield a reddish colour particularly salient in the cliffs around Hengifoss. Moreover, underway towards Hengifoss, the Litlanesfoss presents impressive stands of basalt columns on both sides of the gorge. The trip ends by reaching the southern shore of Iceland with picturesque bays and a lovely view to the sea. Camera......................................... Here is my second test with the D7000 shot in the downtown streets of Denver, Colorado. Basic gear used was: Camera, 17-35mm, 80-200mm, ND filters, Cartoni head and Gitzo sticks. I mostly wanted to see how the D7000 handled the city buildings with its many lines of detail and it did what I expected. I'm pretty happy with the end result. Shot on November 28th, 2010.
