        from Frida Haaz Added 268 1 0

_ "60 days from the Amazon River to Lake Titicaca" In 2011 I spent 40 days living in the Amazon jungle of Peru, in the triple frontier: in a small community called Islandia. I taught 20 children to use a camera and take pictures, they chose one to exhibited at the Palacio Municipal de Yavari. From there I traveled to Puno and Isla del Sol on Lake Titicaca, I went through Cusco and walked down the railroad tracks to Machu Picchu and Huayna Picchu. These 20 children changed my life because thanks to this trip I founded my NGO: Tierra de Artistas A.C. and since then I teach art and photography to all the children of Mexico I can afford with the project "Una Mirada a mi País" teaching them peace and a nonviolent culture through art.
