This Thursday, May 17, is a huge day for Hear Nebraska. It's called Give to Lincoln Day, a 24-hour non-profit fundraising event that allows every dollar you give online to Hear Nebraska to go even further. On Thursday, 180 nonprofits are competing for a proportional share of up to $200,000 in matching funds. That means if we raise just 5 percent of the total amount donated that day, we'll receive an additional $10,000 in matching funds. We want to expand our programming this year, including introducing live, streaming radio to allow people wherever they are to literally "hear" Nebraska. To do it, we need your donation, and we need it on Thursday. And we're going to sweeten the pot. For every $10 you donate, you'll purchase a raffle ticket to win an absolutely killer custom, electric guitar created by Lincoln luthier Andy Essink and valued at more than $1,300. The more you give, the higher your odds to win. So please visit this link: http://givetolincoln.razoo.com/story/Hearnebraska on Thursday, and donate. You could win an awesome guitar, and you will help us to continue to expand our mission to grow Nebraska's music and arts community. Thank you very much in advance, Andrew Norman HN executive editor
