We put time and effort into each of these logo animations. For this one we masked each letter and animated them as if they were being written on by hand in order. It goes by pretty quickly, but I think the work shows. I am always happy when I have the chance to work with some great art like this logo. Technical: Using masks keyframed over time I animated the letters. I used the cc page turn effect to animate the little flag at the bottom. This was a challenging animation. The first approach we took was a complete failure! The concept in my head didn't quite come out like I had planned. What made it challenging was trying to keep the angles of the icon in line with the different ideas. Technical: I made a little square in a composition with a buffer of empty space around it in one composition. I then added a tile effect to that composition and stretched it vertically and horizontally. In order to make the grid do the "wave" I lowered the opacity of the grid to form a guide. I made one copy that I masked to form one sequence of squares vertically and added a simple movement in z space at the beginning. I then used the lower opacity grid as a guide for copying the single sequence vertical grids after changing the x position and staggered the beginning of each of these copies. In order to keep things in perspective I made sure that the grid was moving in x space from left to right so the angle was from the camera and not the objects. Next, I added depth of field from the camera. I then just masked out the grid as the icon "crop" tool came in to close. That's pretty much it! The client had the first half of this concept, which I thought was a great way to make this animation memorable. Technical: The tough part was getting the clouds to look decent. I used a cloudlet particle scattered all around with a fast blur set very high. Using the camera we zoomed past the clouds. I used a shine effect on the cloud icon. Also if you notice I animated the clouds inside of the icon as well with a separate composition just for the clouds. Logo Animations: www.spinmylogo.com Explainer Videos: www.pandamotion.com

There is a lot of content in this animation. I do think it bogs it down, but sometimes it is a necessity. So we made the best with what we had and spread all the text out over 7 seconds. I broke the icon into three fragments and reassembled them. I also played with a colorful animation on the west call text if you watch it closely. Technical: A glow effect was applied to the icon as the beginning along with an echo effect. Duplicating the "West Call" text and changing the color while offsetting the time allowed me to create the rainbow echo effect. Lastly, a light sweep runs across at the end. Your speakers are working fine. No audio on this one! Some of the elegance here is lost due to the shorter length, but that is what the client wanted. The logo forms a beautiful palindrome. Spinning the logo helped draw some attention to that as well as having the animation animated outwards in symmetry. Technical: The light sweep effect added a little "umph" to the animation. The rest was done with a moving mask that animated half the logo. I duplicated it and added a gradient over the top of both of them.

As soon as I looked at this logo I knew we wouldn't be able to handle it unless we had a team. Matt G. was the man who carried this project. He worked on the frame by frame character animation that brought this to life. The "human" did an excellent job adding the right amount of sounds and melody together. Technical: Matt provided an alpha channel of the bear animation. I added this on top of a gradient background. I had to keyframe the position from left to right since I scaled down the composition and the left edge would have been cut off at the beginning. The letters have a wiggle rotation applied to the y axis that fades out over time. Logo Animations: www.spinmylogo.com Explainer Videos: www.pandamotion.com

This is a very short animation. If you watch it slowly you will see a burst of light at the top at the beginning. Technical: A lens flare appeared at the top. A venetian blind effect was utilized in the animation of the windows and text. Logo Animations: www.spinmylogo.com Explainer Videos: www.pandamotion.com

I love the simplicity in this logo design. This animation concept came very quickly and naturally, and was received well by the client. We also provided a lower resolution looping animation of the spinning icon so they could use it as a loader graphic. Your speakers are working fine! No audio on this one. Technical: We used a shape layer with dotted lines that were masked away to form the line. We created the top spinning piece in 3d and parented that composition to the pencil. Changing the anchor point of the pencil we created a null object with the same path as the dotted lines and parented the pencil to that null object.

This animation took some effort to get to how the client liked it. We really played up the "dream" atmospheric elements to compliment the logo design. The music was provided by the client. Technical: There are a number of elements interacting at once here. First we have some large particles with depth of field applied that are moving away from the camera. A glow effect was applied to help them pop more. The drape like effects were made with a noise filter and animated out of the screen. We applied a shine effect to the icon and moved its focal point to have it shine down to give the illusion of the event horizon. A light sweep was applied at the end. What are Tags?

                      Tags

Tags are keywords that describe videos. For example, a video of your Hawaiian vacation might be tagged with "Hawaii," "beach," "surfing," and "sunburn."
