The LEFT UNSAID series explores a group of women who engage with social media. The story is broken up into discreet chapters where various groups of guests, often in two's, find a spot in Marisol's garden apartment to meet and chat. They are usually armed just with the information they gleamed from Facebook about their companions. As they dig deeper they learn from each other, are irritated by what they hear, and have their sense of certainty challenged. While technology drives much of the talk, it is often buried within conversations about motherhood, race, class, gentrification, music, and, of course, love & sex.

Brooklyn Bohéme is a historical documentary and a personal essay by co-director Nelson George about a Brooklyn, New York neighborhood that was home base to an extraordinary community of black and Hispanic artists in the '80s and '90s. Filmmaker Spike Lee, comic Chris Rock, actress Rosie Perez, rap star Talib Kweli, visual artist Lorna Simpson, jazzman Branford Marsalis, rock guitarist Vernon Reid, and poet/rocker Saul Williams are just a sampling of the talent that resided in the area. George, who has lived in the Fort Greene/Clinton Hill areas since 1985, has been a participant/observer as a critic, author, investor, collaborator and filmmaker. Brooklyn Boheme' is very much a collection of old friends getting in beautiful Fort Greene Park, in lovely brownstone homes and comfy cafes talking about why this black bohemian community grew, prospered, and finally got dispersed over the course of twenty-five years and a couple of generations of artists. This is a feature length documentary, co-directed by Diane Paragas, that unlocks a little known piece of New York City cultural history.
