transpix is a work composed from a painting and a digital animation projected together. this video shows the installation of this work in late 2006 in valparaiso`s gallery "el farol" in chile. the work is a reflection about the paper of light in painting and moreover the projection/obstruction of the mind process in the material world. in the installation you can´t take a close look because your body obstruct the projection and revealing the naked painting on your shadow. the reaction on people was a fun stopped mind and beggin to play on a shadows theatre, as you can see it on the flickr photos. transpix es una obra compuesta por una pintura y una animación digital proyectada sobre esta. este video muestra la instalacion de esta obra a finales del 2006, en la sala "el farol" en valparaiso, chile. esta obra reflexiona sobre el papel de la luz en la pintura y por otro lado en la proyección/obstrucción de los procesos de la mente en el mundo material. en la instalacion no podias acercarte a ver de cerca, porque tu propio cuerpo obstruia la proyeccion revelando la pintura desnuda en tu sombra. la reaccion en los espectadores fue una divertida detencion mental para comenzar a jugar en este teatro de sombras, como pueden verlo en las fotos de flickr.

For the launch of the Nike Free Run+ 2 City Pack series, YesYesNo was invited to develop software that would allow runners to create dynamic paintings with their feet using their Nike+ GPS run data. During the two day workshop at Nike headquarters, we invited the participants to record their runs and then using our custom software we imported the metrics from their run, to create visuals based on the speed, consistency and unique style of each person's run. Using the software the participants were able to play with the mapping and adjust the composition of their run which was then outputted as a high resolution print for them to take home. We also worked with the Innovation Lab at Nike to laser etch the runner's name, the distance they ran and their run path onto a custom fabricated shoe box, which contained a pair of the 'City Pack' shoes from their city of origin. The second part was a retail installation which visualized a year's worth of runs from the Nike+ website. We made custom software that played back runs throughout three cities: New York, London and Tokyo. The runs showed tens of thousands of peoples runs animating the city and bringing it to life. You can see individual runs, as well as the collective energy of all the urban runners. Credits: Produced in collaboration with DualForces. YesYesNo Team: Zach Lieberman, Emily Gobeille and Theo Watson. Software was made with openFrameworks v007b and uses Moka's ofxTileSaver addon. Project Page: http://yesyesno.com/nike-city-runs

http://digg.com/comedy/We_Run_This Hello leaders of scientology, we are anonymous. We hope you are having as much fun with this as we are. As you know, we are still here, and with every passing day your failure to account for the fraud and abuse exposed by our campaign becomes more evident to the media, to our government and to your own followers. Reuters , The BBC ,CNN, The London Times, Fox, The Associated Press, Forbes and a legion of local news agencies have chosen to communicate our message about your organization to their viewer-ship. And now the world is listening to us and watching you. The mechanism behind the phenomenal ease with which we have achieved this is simple. We are speaking the truth. Your efforts to handle this condition are as predictable as they are expensive for you. This pleases Anonymous and we encourage you to continue waging your informational war against truth at great expense to you and at no cost to us. We approve of these conditions. Because within them defeat is impossible. Our campaign has been one of constant success, and yours has been one of constant failure. This will continue. Evidence of our victory is everywhere. We are certain that Youtube and google appreciate your handsome patronage now necessary because of the ubiquity of our message. Unfortunately for you the hundreds of thousands of dollars you now spend every month because of Anonymous cannot change your organization's history of crime and abuse of human rights, nor alter your organizations policy encouraging criminal behavior which are now all available to the public. Your lawsuits to censor these documents will continue to fail at great cost to you just as your attempts to paint our peaceful demonstrations as terrorist activities have done nothing but foreground your tendency to abuse the judicial system to suppress free speech. Defections at every level of your organization will continue to increase. By now you have most likely experienced the cognition that every action we take deprives you of at least one of the three following things: capital, clients and credibility. These conditions will continue to exert their pressure upon you and your superiors. The disorder will continue to deepen. We have changed the rules of the game. Growth of the magnitude required to maintain your organization in its present form is no longer possible for you. Your ability to seduce the public has been destroyed. Your survival has long depended on your capacity to suppress the truth of your abuses, and that ability is now gone. We have removed it. Leaders of scientology, the data has spoken. We are at Cause. you are at effect. Expect this to continue, and thank you for playing the game. source = http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j0ZFow_9vsg http://rutube.ru/tracks/1001686.html?v=e2df3410d0469b6be26fd51f36896d5e

Credits Chris Gruggen & Oliver Banyard Music: Smic Tague - Underoath This is a New Media installation. Our vision was to have disposable cameras spread out around four of our favorite communities in Toronto. The four spaces were the Toronto Eaton Centre, Yonge & Dundas Square, Queen St West, and the Rogers Communications Center on the Ryerson Campus. Users were invited to take pictures either of them, or something around the environment. Note: The camera from Queen St. West did not make it through this adventure. The photos from the camera magically disappeared and were not able to be developed.
