Abstract: Moist Sense by Lifepatch - citizen initiative in art, science and technology | http://lifepatch.org/ Instalasi - Mix Media 2012 Adalah sebuah instalasi dengan tema perkebunan di daerah perkotaan (urban farming) yang berkembang pada saat ini. Is an installation taken from the theme of urban farming in dense city areas urban areas which has been growing at current time. Very few areas are engineered in such a way by the society to obtain the optimization of cultivation in the city residencies. Engineering and designs that were used includes the use of appropriate technology to bridge human in providing the needs of these plants. This installation is a simulation of a simple irrigation automation system using moisture sensors to measure the water content in the soil. Crop water needs can be met with sensors and electronic circuits that are connected the terminal automatically sends water according to crop needs. Instalasi ini dibuat oleh: - Adhari Donora (Antirender Lab) - Agus Tb Budiarto - Andreas Siagian - Budi Prakosa - Regeg Gnuga beserta: - Duala Okto - Ivan Bestari Minar Pradipta - Joan Prahara Bumi - Radix Nugroho - Wawies Wisnu Wisdantio dan dukungan besar dari: - Rosa Dahlia - Ferial Afiff - Nur Akbar Arofatullah - Kim Sing instalasi ini ditampilkan pada pameran Dance Your Eyes 2012 di Gedung Indonesia Menggugat, Bandung.

"Mneme" is a Liquid Memory Scape. As a metaphor, it can be kristalisiern the process of my memory. This attempt at transformation between Immateriellitaet and materiality is not for a representation of an image but a Verkorperung the specific track of my condition with my Gedaechtins at a time was very ambivalent. The 15 glass stand in a glass bowl which chemical liquid (iron (II) sulfate heptahydrate) for introduction of. In between each glass sheet are an anode and cathode and the individual channel refers to a region of the EEG (Electroencephalography instrument). The Hirnstroeme is recorded and amplified for electrolysis. Thus the crystal is formed and grows in a time sequence. "Mneme" is me.

Sun Wheel Six is a video installation which creates a continuous, scanning record of the room in which it's installed. The record is then displayed on a monitor or projected in the same room. I made it at SUNY Purchase in December 2012. The software end of the project is written in Processing, which communicates to the stepper motor via an Arduino board. The gears were made in SketchUp with Cadalog Inc’s Involute Gear plugin, and fabricated with our school's Maker Bot Replicator. The documentary video was shot and edited by me, with music by Eric Holsten. The track is called Morning Clip, from Music for Morning by Shocking Twist. The video piece, Rounding Up of The Self defines "What is a progression of maturity in a humanist term" It is an abstracted expression and vague exploration of the question by an artist, Jung-hee Mun. Jung uses same amount of materials to make 8 cotton balls one at a time and displays in a chronological order like a person's developing step as advanced through negative and positive experiences. In the video, the artist tries to make the balls perfectly round which involves repetitive action and perseverance. Random quotes by famous people randomly appears, which juxtaposes with certain gesture of the artist in the video. "Proprium Cycle: Rounding Up of the Self" The body of work which evolved around the title Proprium Cycle solves my years-long questions of defining self in micro to macro levels. I use body parts as a symbol for a proprietor of life and manipulate myself as a model. My work begins with exploring the self and progresses to macrocosmic understanding of the self which is, in sum, how one composes a life. When time is added to ones experiences in the micro level, generalization and simplification happen, and it is a way of accepting the self. http://jungheemun.wix.com/jungheemun#!portfolio http://glasstire.com/2011/05/03/youre-never-gonna-make-it-flat-anyway-jung-mun-and-the-sala-diaz-effect/
