West Virginia's New River Gorge is one of those rare places in the world the gives you goosebumps when you behold it. If you're a spiritual person, it will touch your very soul. If you are adventurous it will inspire you. If you are introspective you can lose yourself in its folds and ridges. Here, fog unfurls from the canyon rim like flowing water. Here, the sunrise is only challenged in its awe by the sunset. Here, you can simply be.

Chetty's specializes in Appalachian-style pub food, and our wings have a huge local following. Affordable dining in a casual setting at the New River Gorge. Chester Wayne "Chetty" Morton, bus driver and mechanic extraordinaire, became Class VI 's first bus driver in 1978 as part of the package deal when Class VI River Runners purchased a 1949 GMC transit bus from Oak Hill City Lines. At an age when most people begin retirement, Chetty started an 18 year stint with Class VI. His favorite bus, No. 6, a 1965 GMC coach, was part of our fleet until 2001. Chetty passed away in February 2004, at the age of 90. The laid-back casual atmosphere of his namesake restaurant offers a huge deck overlooking the New River Gorge and multiple giant-screen TVs. With a menu stacked with everything from steaks to seafood, vegetable dishes and appetizers, plus weekend specials, Chetty's is perfect for grabbing a snack, a meal or just a frosty beverage to wash down your latest adventure. It's our only year-round restaurant, so come in and enjoy the atmosphere anytime. Be sure to also check out Wing Night at Chetty's every Monday night, featuring live music and specials on our world famous wings!

Eating at Smokey’s is not an everyday dining experience. Our flagship restaurant, Smokey's is a showcase timber-frame pavilion perched right smack dab on the rim of the New River Gorge. The gourmet buffet combined with friendly service and casual atmosphere has to be experienced to be believed. Optional seating on our outdoor deck offers spectacular views of the New River Gorge and incredible Appalachian sunsets. If the setting is unique, then the cuisine is even more so. Our breakfast buffet is offers a wide variety of get-you-fueled-for-a-day-of-play options, including classics with a Smokey's flair—you'd be hard pressed to find somebody who doesn't think our bacon is the best on Earth. A full salad bar comes with every dinner, but it's the main course that might spoil you for every other restaurant. Our chefs like to get creative—and the results are terrific.
