      On December 19, 2009, we got to be part of the Holidazzle, a holiday parade in downtown Minneapolis that goes down Nicollet Mall. Jack and Peter were a giraffe and an elephant on the Circus Train, Kelly was Little Red Riding Hood, and I was the Big Bad Wolf. I didn't actually see much of the parade--the wolf costume offered very limited visibility, and I was lucky not to trip over my feet--but the setup was fascinating, with a great team of costumers helping the volunteers into their suits and hooking up the lights that give the parade its name (I had glowing teeth and a brightly-lit cape on my outfit).

          I was slightly awake (too much homemade Kahlua-like drink) but mostly restless at 4am when the room started blinking from police cars outside. Just muted out the South Park in iMovie and pieced it together naturally quick how it felt to be. All shot with available light.
