A short promo video that parodies the endless production and marketing of prosumer video cameras. Filmmakers Mark and Angela Walley have created a camera that is both a reverse trend in consumer electronics and “the most advanced camera ever built.” “WALLEY POS-86 Promo Video” was produced as part of the art exhibition “Creation to Consumption” curated by Hills Snyder for the artist-run exhibition space, Sala Diaz. Special thanks to Mark Menjivar, Sara Frantz, and John Totman. Music by Mark Walley. My first attempt with the Canon HF-S11 and the Handy35 V5+ dof adapter. This is all new to me so expect to see some shocking over-exposed shaky footage. And yeah, I need some human subjects but these furry creatures and pot plants will have to do for now! Lens used: Nikon 50mm f/1.4, 85mm f/1.4 and Lensbaby Composer. Edited (crudely) in Sony Vegas and slightly colour graded with Magic Bullet Looks. Music: courtesy of Windows 7 music sample folder! Second time using the Panasonic AF100 out the box. Shot this in a full day and just wanted to test it out in random lighting conditions from harsh sunlight, cityscape lights in midtown to using just a candle and very dim light. No color correction was done since I was testing how clean I could get raw footage. All footage was shot using a Nikon 50mm/1.4 and a Bower 85mm/1.4 ISO was set at 200 - 2000 depending on lighting conditions.

A very quick and very rough test of the new BMCC Speedbooster. We're too busy with paid work to do anything more considered at the moment, sorry. Hopefully this rough test might be of use to some of you. Sorry about the terrible lighting in the kitchen shots, that's just what it looks like :-) One thing we wanted to test was how sharp the Nikon 50mm is at F1.2. Answer, it's useable if you want a 'dreamy' look. Without the Speedbooster on a Micro Four Thirds sensor (or smaller) it's too soft at F1.2 (it's sharp at F2 though). With the Speedbooster the Sigma is a really fantastic lens. Also with the Speedbooster and without gives you a great range of focal lengths. Equipment: BMCC MFT // Pro Res 800 ASA BMCC Speedbooster Sigma 18-35mm F1.8 Nikon 50mm F1.2 Quickly graded in Resolve, decided to keep the log levels more or less and just made some subtle colour adjustments. Sharpening was applied in the 50mm F1.2 shots (.47 in Resolve). ©144 Picture, Sound & Music 2013

On the internet a lot of footage example can be seen captured by a Sony EX1 and the Letus35Extreme. But how does it work with a cheaper camera like the Sony HDR-FX7? Here are some footage example with a Sony HDR-FX7 with Letus35Extreme and fitted with Nikon lenses 50mm&20mm.

This is our full feature of our custom twin turbo LP640, which was completely assembled in-house, and showcases the power and elegance of the turbo kit. As you can hear from the sound clips, the turbo spool and blow off valves emit a pretty monstrous intonation from the outside, but while seated in the cockpit you'll find that it's still virtually quiet, and you don't need to strain to hear your passenger. Our LP640 was tuned on 91 pump gas, and recorded 703awhp and 660lbs of torque to all four corners @ 6psi. Please note that this subtle tuning allows the driver to enjoy daily/weekend driving with just the right amount of power. We were aiming for reliability and consistency, over power battles and breaking speed records. Although, those requests can still be achieved if the client wishes. Our LP640-TT sports carbon aerodynamics from CarbonTEK, and ADV.1 matte black wheels. These fully custom built twin turbo kits are now available to the public, and are installed by SP techs only! We offer these kits for the Murcielago/LP, Gallardo/Superlegerra, and Diablo platforms. Please send all inquiries to Eugene@sp-power.com or TURBOALEX@sp-power.com www.sp-power.com
