Take a look at this short animation exploring OD’s part in the future of Third Sector organisations. More about Mayvin’s work: Mayvin is a specialist Leadership and Organisational Development consultancy. Over the past year we have been developing our work in the Third Sector, exploring the innovative ways of working in not-for-profit organisations. Sarah Fraser has joined the team, working alongside James Traeger and Martin Saville, as a Director to lead this venture. Sarah’s focus is on designing and facilitating OD programmes in the Third Sector that enable emergent change in complex environments. This brings in skills in: • developing talent through facilitation • coaching and action learning • developing women in leadership • promoting culture change to drive high performance. Through Sarah’s recent work, which includes co-designing an Institute of Leadership and Management accredited leadership programme with a leading international NGO, Mayvin is getting interested in the wider picture for the Third Sector. Funding cuts and decentralisation are pushing organisations into a progressively uncertain future. New ways of working and leading are crucial. Taking an Action Research approach that Mayvin holds as central to its ethos, we are investigating these issues further through a series of events, case studies, research projects and conversations and applying our learning in practice. More about Sarah Sarah has become a trusted advisor and developed leadership and talent programmes with leading commercial and not-for-profit organisations including MS Society, Plan International and Defra. She has an established track record of global work in Europe, Africa and Asia, working on strategy and leadership with senior teams. Sarah won an award for an innovative research programme for women leaders in a leading data analytics organisation and has been running a similar programme with a group of agencies in the international NGO sector to understand the opportunities and barriers for female leaders. Drawing on her passion and knowledge of women’s leadership, Sarah expertly facilitates collaborative projects to drive culture change. Sarah completed a Masters in Organisational Change at Ashridge Business School in 2014 and also holds a BA (Hons) degree in History and Sociology from the University of Warwick. The Mayvin story so far... Mayvin (def: ‘trusted expert in a particular field’) is a specialist Leadership and Organisational Development company. • Hatch™ for Hunger

from Harbor Pictures Company / Added

We worked with the HATCH™ team to create this program that introduces their efforts to fight hunger one egg at time. It's a great way for anyone to help provide eggs to local food banks. Eggs are one of the best, and most requested sources of protein. HATCH™, in partnership with local farms and Kroger, will donate 1 egg for every dozen you buy to area food banks. That means when you buy a dozen eggs, you’re helping relieve hunger for someone in need. This program will initially run through June 2015, and may be extended beyond that. So go to your local Kroger, and buy a dozen eggs! For more information, go to: www.hatchforhunger.com

A Note from Noah's Mom "Coming to Shining Hope Farms to ride Cappy and to visit the wonderful staff is the highlight of Noah's week. Noah was barely able to sit up on his own when he first came to the farm for Hippotherapy. Today, because of Hippotherapy, his muscles are significantly stronger and he is cruising and learning how to walk on his own. Peace surrounds our family as soon as we enter the farm. We are so grateful to have such a remarkable place for Noah to come to. He tells everyone he meets about the farm and Cappy. Noah would not be where he is or who he is today without the people and horses of Shining Hope Farms!"
