Here are The Last Pedestrians playing on a Saturday night for a change! The mighty Phil Jackson was away in Prague buying badges for the band when this was filmed hence the different stage arrangement and 'up-close' feel!

The Last Pedestrians can be seen here playing their weekly Sunday night gig at The Lion in Basford, Nottingham. This set shows quite a few songs that have not been heard for a while. Harry sings 'Horizons of tears' and 'Please your Honour' and Phil does 'When all is said and done'. Also the version of 'Breakfast at Wetherspoons' played in this gig is probably one of the best the band has ever done. It's still a fairly new song and needs to be played quite a bit more before it settles.

The 1972 Eurovision Song Contest was held on Saturday 25 March 1972, it marked the seventeenth contest and saw the United Kingdom represented by The New Seekers' 'Beg, Steal Or Borrow'. Scot Eve Graham was given a warm reception by the Edinburgh audience at The Usher Hall, but this did not help the UK's entry as the contest was ultimately won by Luxembourg's entry 'Come What May' or 'Apres Toi' to gie the original french language title. Whilst Moira Stewart's presentation may seem a little starched by modern standards, it does mark a time which was free from tactical voting and generally a more innocent contest. This contest marked the third victory for Luxembourg, Vicky Leandros did not consolidate her Eurovision win with other hits in the UK - indeed we would have to wait another two years for a winner which would take Europe by storm - and finally add some sparkle and oomph to the Eurovision proceedings. This film shows the Last Pedestrians without our leader, Harry Stephenson. Harry had gone to France for the week, leaving the band to it's own devices. Harry being away meant that Wayne D Evans and Phil Jackson stepped up and played two sets of their songs instead.

Over the last 10 years artist and activist collective of one, the vacuum cleaner, has become semi-notorious for his acts of street brandalism, performance interventions and online pranks.
