FCPX3D MODEL 1.0 - Professional 3D Model Loader for Final Cut Pro X from Pixel Film Studios http://store.pixelfilmstudios.com/plugin/promodel-3D-plugin-1 FCPX3D Model 1.0 from Pixel Film Studios™ allows Final Cut Pro X users to upload and control 3D objects in FCPX. With Object and Environment controls, users can customize the texture, lighting, background and reflection of their 3D model without ever having to open another software. FCPX3D Model requires Final Cut Pro X version 10.1.3 or newer and a Shader Model 4 compliant graphics card. 3D OBJECTS IN FCPX! FCPX3D Model was professionally designed by the team at Pixel Film Studios™ for FCPX! Users can simply drag-and-drop a Model layer into the timeline and fill it with an OBJ file. FCPX3D Model contains easy-to-use controls in the Final Cut Pro X Inspector that allow editors to customize their object, environment, and lighting without ever having to open another 3D software! 3 OBJECTS, 1 ENVIRONMENT With FCPX3D Model, users can load up to 3 objects into a single environment in FCPX. Once uploaded, these objects will be able to reflect or even cast shadows on one another in real time. ADD TEXTURES AND REFLECTIONS Final Cut Pro X users can add realistic textures to their models by applying normal, diffusion, specular, reflection and opacity maps to their objects. FCPX3D Model supports basic MTL files. Users can also remove the texture entirely to create a wireframe or point frame rendering of their 3D model. HDRI ENVIRONMENTS Create a 360° viewing experience by adding an HDRI photosphere environment. With an HDRI background, users can move and pivot in any direction without running into any edges or seams. Also, if the Object is reflective, it will interact with the environment. CONTROL THE LIGHTING Users can move the light sources around in 3D space and watch as their 3D object reacts in real-time. Once the lights and environment are in place, editors can adjust the reflection and shadow parameters to help blend their model into the scene, seamlessly.

http://vfxhaiku.com Stabilization | From Shaky Beginnings | A Tranquility In this tutorial, we use Adobe After Effects CS5 and take a look at stabilizing a piece of footage. Once the footage is stable, we "paint" out two unwanted objects from the shot using a quick and simple technique. We then complete the shot with some quick colour corrections. If you want to see the same techniques, but done in a node based application (in this case Fusion 6) check out this tutorial here: http://vimeo.com/14656077

On 9th September, 2012, two Czech citizens, Ivan Buchta and Martin Pezlar were arrested on Limnos island, Greece. Both of them are charged with espionage. Reason for this accusation was few photographs, which are said to contain military objects, similar to those one can easily find over the internet, supposedly with much better resolution. Film is created by P.J. Knuutinen for informational purposes and to be used in helpivanmartin.org team efforts to spread the word and help our friends, who have now been detained for three months. Intention of this film is hereby solely informational, with dramatized means of motion picture. It is not meant to hurt or offend anything or anyone. I set about to do a quick illustration each day, for only thirty minutes. I decided to record the drawings, and found that the process of illustrating was as much an object as the finished illustration itself. See the illustration below. Expect a new illustration each day.

We all possess the power in helping others shine their light for the good of mankind. Made with Cinema 4d and after effects. Used a spline with spline dynamics with the light bulb attached to the end. All light effects were in AE by using an object buffer for the light bulbs. Starglow,Shine, and simple shapes with feathered mattes were used to make the light shining effect. Depth of field was made by frischluft and a depth matte. Particular was used to make the dust in a few shots.
