This is a video compilation made of Occupy San Diego on the evening of Friday, October 28, 2011. Local labor unions came out to show their support for the movement and to give voice to many of the Occupy Wall Street concerns. Disclaimer: The opinions expressed in this video are the opinions of the speakers. While I agree with much of what is being said, I do not personally agree with making personal insults to individual 1%-ers in our community. I believe that through respectful dialogue we can get our message across in a way that most people, especially those in the 1%, can understand.

Corpocracy's secrets are very very scary. They'll do anything to make profits by exploiting others. They dress nicely, show happy people in their advertisements to fool you. They make you feel materialism is the way to go because consumption is their virtue. They attempt to make you feel ugly and imperfect. Then they will tell you the only way to improve you as a person is to buy their products. They disregard humanity, culture, environment. They ridicule everything that doesn't make profits. If corporation is a person, the person is an extremely shallow person.

DISCLAIMER: I did not make this video in support of or in condemnation of the Occupy Movement. I merely sought to document the encampment in San Francisco. In October of 2011, the Occupy Movement was in full swing. I convinced my friend, Cris Mendoza, to drive us to Justin Herman Plaza in San Francisco so that we might document what was happening. I figured it was a historical event, and I wanted to experience it first hand. This video is a mere collection of the footage I captured during that trip. As I said above, I do not necessarily stand by the positions of the people depicted in this film, I merely documented them. Director: Adam Schultz Cinematography: Adam Schultz Post Production/Editing: Adam Schultz Special Thanks: Cris Mendoza Equipment: Canon 60D (Technicolor Cinestyle Picture Style), NIkon Nikkor 35-70mm Software: Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 & CS6 Location: Justin Herman Plaza, San Francisco, CA
