    This video features highlights from the 11th-annual Oklahoma Christian University Associates Gala, attended by almost 750 people at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum. Oklahoma City Thunder broadcaster Grant Long was the keynote speaker while lifesaving meteorologists Gary England, Mike Morgan and Damon Lane received the Lee Allan Smith Spirit of Oklahoma Award. Alfredo's Mexican Cafe presented OC alumni Jennifer Simonds, Cindy Lowe and Kevin Hixson with $1,000 each for classroom supplies. Simonds teaches at Plaza Towers Elementary School in Moore; Lowe and Hixson teach at Briarwood Elementary in Moore.
