www.oneinchdreams.com Water is the source of life. In summer it's our source of fun when waterlining above it and falling into it. you can slackline in the air, above ground or water. Our favourite element in summer is of course water. The reflections, the refreshment and the fun of hanging at a see is pure joy! That day we came to the lake just for the fun of waterlining. We then rigged just for fun and training purposes the 196m waterline (new worldrecord waterline, discipline polyester) and Alex onsighted it. www.oneinchdreams.com

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- “Dreamwalker” is an analogy to the dream that my film begins and ends with. It’s a dream that is telling about the highline projects of One Inch Dreams through its contrasting pictures. It’s a dream that is also the beginning of a journey at the same time. The beginning of a journey that takes the viewer to the recent big projects of One Inch Dreams and shows how three different highlines are rigged and walked. “Dreamwalker” is a film about the harmony of the place, the aesthetics of highlining and the gracefulness of “Calanques d’En Vau” at the Mediterranean border of France. In a flashback the Outro also shows a preview of my next great highline project: a 45-minute-documentation about an urban highline project at an old, closed down refinery. Both progressing gentrifying of urban living spaces and winning back natural environments play an important role in that documentation. Support: “Dreamwalker” could only be realised with the help of numerous friends. I’d like to express my gratitude to Bernd Hassmann, for his jump line skills, Friedrich Kühne for his tireless willingness to be filmed, Lukas Irmler for throwing leaves, Bettina Richter for her sense of community, Klaus Blagoi for his opposing opinions, Sonjah, who is really called Sonja Leipnitz, Mirko Prohaska for his car and love, Katharina Werner for doing the dishes together, Michael Radeck for the colours and his feedback, Valentin Rapp for his support in the animations and of course all the others who helped me realizing “Dreamwalker”. The rigging of such big line turned out to be a odysee due to bad weather conditions and complicated rigging technics. But the beauty, nature and peace in this astonishing landscape and of course the epic spaceline made this slacklinetrip an unforgettable experience. • Efficiency test of slackline pulley systems

Hier findet ihr eine ausführliche Beschreibung und alle Ergebnisse des Tests: www.oneinchdreams.com/de/forschung/effizienztest-flaschenzugsysteme.html Link zum Cobra system: www.oneinchdreams-shop.com/deutsch/produkte/ One Inch Dreams Seite: www.oneinchdreams.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Last Sunday we performed the so far most detailed and most neutral efficiency test comparing the pulley systems mostly used for slacklining. Our test showed that "Cobra" is as good as the system that so far has been considered to be the best without any question, although it is a lot lighter in weight and smaller in measurement. In order to find out the effectiveness of the Cobra pulley system in comparison to other pulley systems available, we carried out four different tests. It was our aim to measure the power necessary to lift a number of weights with the different pulley systems. By using an electric cable winch pulling the rope from the pulley system we achieved a constant pulling speed. Here you can find a detailed description and all the results of the test: www.oneinchdreams.com/en/research/efficiency-tests-of-pulley-systems.html Link to the Cobra system: www.oneinchdreams-shop.com/englisch/products/ One Inch Dreams main page: www.oneinchdreams.com/en/about.html

The OneInchDreams-team organized a beautiful Slack-Festival this summer at Hochkönig in Austria. There were set up a lot of nice lines (for example the "tractor-longline" and two Midlines starting from a ski-jumping hill). It was really nice to meet so many funny and motivated people. To get there a friend and I went there by bike, which was sometimes hard but a good experience, and training, too (450km in 3 days with min. 15kg on the back ;P). http://www.oneinchdreams.com/ueber-uns.html http://www.oneinchdreams-shop.com

www.oneinchdreams-shop.com Once upon a time the snake expelled us from paradise, now Cobra is taking us back at least all slackliners. Cobra is small, light, fast and strong! The reduction to the most fundamental purpose leads to a clear look and an unbeatable relation between weight and efficiency. The 5:1 Cobra pulley system has been developed specifically for slacklining and therefore reduced to pure function. Compared to conventional pulley systems, which consist of different components of mountain climbing sports, rescue and PSA, Cobra was designed just for the purpose of slacklining by applying engineering knowledge at its best. Like that we have succeeded in developing the lightest, smallest and highly efficient system for ambitious slackliners. Its' weight of ~2000 grams (including 33 m of rope and DreamCatcher webbing anchor) is a third of the weight of comparable powerful systems (SMCs)! Where there used to be more weight because of connections made of steel, we present a clean and light solution. This way we can reduce the weight of your backpacks and there will be also more room because of our minimized pack measurement of the size of a handball. Although its relatives in animal kingdom are dangerous, Cobra fulfills highest safety expectations as its components are made of steel. Due to that Cobra is the first pulley system that works without weight bearing aluminum parts.
