Two guys searching for some good snow. One car ready to go for a trip to France. 25°C in Chamonix. 3 foot snow forecast at Lake Tahoe. A spontaneous flight-booking to Las Vegas for the next day. 14 days to go. The result is this little clip following the two bavarian skiers on a roadtrip around western U.S. They didn't find any big lines but impressive nature and some smooth powderturns.

Paul and I drove 5 hours up the US 395 to this little town called Independence and hung a left on the one road that goes out into the Sierra's. Pretty amazing place and I highly recommend that you visit the Onion Valley campgrounds to hike around.
