    "War in Heaven" is a physical game and video game with multiplayer capabilities in which the player(s) play as devils in order to dethrone God. I used Unity 3D, Open CV and HappyFunTimes to make this game. The context of the game is based on John Milton's Paradise Lost which focuses on Satan's/Lucifer's narrative. In the game, the players can use the physical objects (Sin, Death and Chaos) as platforms to get closer to the middle. A webcam detects the physical objects and make them into virtual objects in the game; thus it looks like the players are on top of the physical object. The multiplayer aspect is possible through HappyFunTimes, which is an application that connects to a web page that people can play through their phones, tablets, and computers.

        Some text-type commentary over some work in progress to explain a coding experiment in which I use facial recognition to measure the appearance of faces in random noisy meshes, to propel a genetic algorithm into breeding more face-like meshes. The 'genes' are the mesh vertex coordinates - strong genes get passed on to future generations, so that the population slowly evolves into heads scoring high on facial recognition - supposedly looking more and more like a recognisable face to humans too. The faces however can be disappointingly weak to human observation. I'm moving the project in another direction so this video is here to quickly document my attempts.             Among is a sonic and luminous environment composed of articulated tubular lights, their pulsation and movement is conditioned by a computer vision system that observes living ants in an antquarium. Subsequently the tubes´ positions and luminous intensities drive a sonification for this environment. The resulting sound, light and movement sequences are amplified interpretations of the ant colony´s activity. Among allows you to wander around among those sequences, offering you a space to experience this amplification. This piece received a Production Incentive award from Telefonica´s Vida awards.
