Further work on the GLSL fluid implementation in MaxMSP. Technically all that has changed is another couple of the processes, in particular the optical flow part of the process, has moved off the CPU onto the GPU. In this case I'm using the source image rather than a lookup map for visualising the density of the fluid. Again, running at 30fps on my iMac, with the fluid simulation working at a quarter of the output resolution (640x360). Music by Elanor Wexler+ More details

http://www.ericbouwman.nl Best Dutch Color Run ever! Color Run Nederland GoPro Hero3 In Utrecht we had the Color Run in the best weather you can think of. I had two Go Pro's with me. In my backpack a Hero2 shooting 25fps in 1080p and a Hero3 on a pole shooting 50fps in 1080p. For editing I used Final Cut Pro X. For the slow motion I used Optical Flow. Music is bij X-Ray Dog - Crunchy Hand Jive. I love running, swimming, skiing and doing so much more with these camera's because the possibilities are endless. The GoPro Hero2 is still a nice camera for shiny weather. Normally I like using it as an extra so i can have alternate shots with my GoPro Hero3. Framerate is best at 50fps because then you have the possibility to make a slow motion in your edit. Doing that on will make your slow motion more choppy because there are not that much photo's in a second. If you have a hero2 I would advice setting it on 720p with the 50 or 60fps settings when doing fast movement activities. This is not a problem with the new Hero3+ or the Hero3. Hope you liked the video, and if you have any questions, just ask.+ More details

An experimental short turning the motion of the moon across the sky into a mechanism for spatial mapping. The process was a simple one of filming the moon with a webcam through the eyepiece of a reflecting telescope. The scope had the drive turned off so that instead of tracking with the rotation of the earth, it allowed the moon's surface to pass through the field of view as a series of scans. This optical flow was then turned into a series of panoramic images which were then composited back with the original footage in order to recombine both the temporal and spatial elements with one another.+ More details

Optical flow algorithm for real-time video processing (home brewed). The algorithm was originally designed to reach real-time performance on ARMv8. The current implementation uses C++ and OpenCL, and a ARM NEON optimized version is under development. ------------------ Big Buck Bunny (code-named Peach) is a short computer animated film by the Blender Institute, part of the Blender Foundation. Like the foundation's previous film Elephants Dream, the film was made using Blender, a free software application for animation made by the same foundation. It was released as an Open Source film under Creative Commons License Attribution 3.0.+ More details
