            • Field testing with the Cyclops

from Imagine Photo Cinema Added 3,283 27 1

I recently tested the new Cyclops from Cinevate at a recent commercial shoot. The unit performed incredibly well. Good, crisp focus has always been an issue for me so this is a real treat. I quickly learned that Cyclops is more than just a viewfinder. It also doubles as a mini DSLR rig. The viewfinder is ergonomically shaped which works well in cutting out bright sunlight. I nice by-product of Cyclops is that it adds quite a bit of "bump" protection to your camera. Having the hand grips on the side not only offer protection but a firmer grip of the camera. Cyclops has been talked about for almost a year, but it's definately been worth the wait. Cinevate got it right!
