A mini-documentary about Wyoming Public Media's "Wyoming Stories." Recently, Micah Schweizer, Cultural Affairs and Production Director for Wyoming Public Media, was in Jackson recording "Wyoming Stories." I had the pleasure of filming him and storytellers from 10 AM to 6 PM at the Teton County Library. I can't wait to hear the edited pieces. "Wyoming Stories" captures history through the memories of those who live here. Interested in telling your own story? Contact Diana Denison at ddenison@uwyo.edu or 307-766-4240. This program is supported in part by a grant from the Wyoming Cultural Trust Fund, a program of the Department of State Parks and Cultural Resources.

En Mi Corazon (In my heart) tells the story of the Young Lords in Chicago from the perspective of Mr. José “Cha-Cha” Jiménez. I met Mr. Jiménez when we were both students at Grand Valley State University. I was introduced to him by my professor Melanie Shell-Weiss. Together they were in the midst of collecting oral histories from other members of the Young Loards, and the Puerto Rican community. Since, they have developed the "Young Lords in Lincoln Park Collection" If you would like to learn more visit http://www.gvsu.edu/younglords/
