Bridges Global Education Centre and Telford & Wrekin Library Service, supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund, have brought together the words of residents and archive pictures of the development of Telford into a resource that reaches across the generations. The project has also funded the setting up of the Oral History Zone within the Community History Centre at Wellington Library. The Zone will provide a sign post to local projects involving local history and there will be future opportunities for people to record their personal memories at organised events and sessions with the help of volunteers and staff.
