    The Oxfam Uni Groups “Universe” project was another uni project that had a real brief and a real client, Oxfam. The large project consisted of the new branding Oxfam’s exisitng Uni Groups as well as accompanying collateral (posters, banners, t-shirt designs and canvas bag transfers). The project then crescendoed with a short promo video using the brand, combining photography and animation. I was heavily involved in the creating of the brand but also more heavily involved in the video/animatic, completing it on my own within a few weeks. While there, they checked out urban gardens in Port-au-Prince, and new rice-growing techniques that require less water in the countryside.

              The last day of the Copenhagen climate talks and the US and China -- in a fossil lobby-backed 'low ambition coalition' -- tabled a weak proposal for a new global climate treaty. Hundreds of youth, supported by Avaaz, 350.org and Oxfam, raced to the conference centre to urge the talks to keep going until a fair, ambitious and binding treaty was a reality. It was 2 in the morning, and below freezing outside, but our message was heard.
