1. Surfing Oregon II

    from Ross Gale Added 102 4 1

I woke up at 4:30 am to beat the Independence Day traffic and caught some small lefts all morning. It was a perfect morning. Cold and cloudy and peaceful. The next day, on the 4th, my buddy Sam and I drove to Pacific City and surfed in the Kook contest and had even more fun. But we were so exhausted by the end of it we drove home before the fireworks. I've never seen so many people on an Oregon beach before. You might have to wake up really early or travel long distances with friends, but you can definitely find your paradise.
