Part 3 of 6. This is 16mm footage that was shot between the Spring of 1963 and the Fall of 1964, by my father with his two friends, on a sailing trip through the Caribbean Sea, Panama Canal, Galapagos Islands and South Pacific. Enjoy! Fair Use: The use of copyrighted music in this work is protected by the guidelines of fair use as this video is a work of creative expression and art, not for any commercial use, and the vintage footage had no original sound, and I spent days artistically and painstakingly editing the footage to these pieces of music, to ultimately create a new work of art. This is art, so there.

My abuela used to own a little cottage in the heart of town on Isla Taboga off the coast of Panama. We would visit her on weekends and spend countless hours at the beach. Notice my brother's gentle handedness towards his snotty little brother..

Our second time to the Panama Canal, this time we did just a partial transit that took us through the Gatun Locks to the lake by the same name. Once anchored in the lake, we had an opportunity to get off the ship to do a small-boat cruise and visit the Gatun Locks Visitor Center, where we watched Coral Princess transit back out to the Caribbean without us. We joined the ship in Colon, where a folklore group entertained us before the ship weighed anchor again.
