1. Yes Jackpot 2015-16 Product Review

from The Snowboard Asylum Added 2 0 0

This season the Jackpot gets a complete makeover. With an all new park friendly twin shape and all new construction it takes the Jackpot’s class leading all terrain freestyle versatility to another level. The most obvious change is the state of the art Mid Bite edge profile. By stepping in the waist 1.5 mm just inside the inserts, creating an extended disruption of the edge, Yes have managed to trick the Jackpot into riding like a far narrower board (i.e. quicker, easier turning, faster edge to edge response) without compromising the stable platform you need for popping, spinning and landing. Now add the freestyle flavoured cam rock profile with equal amounts of rocker at the tip and tail, camber between the feet and you get the perfect amount of pop and response with a looser, more predictable freestyle flex. Internally the new lightweight Poplar wood core with tri-ax glass structural layers gives the ideal balance of durability and response with a more relaxing feel, ensuring that when you’re in the park you get maximum control and feel. However, the Jackpot can still deliver a truly great performance when you just want to charge around a mountain. Finally the high end sintered base gives a super fast glide whilst being tough enough to withstand the harshest knocks. Buy Now at www.snowboard-asylum.com

    • Yes TDF 2015-16 Product Review

from The Snowboard Asylum Added 1 0 0

Tadashi Fuse’s TDF is is aimed at experienced freestyle riders who are looking for a powerful and responsive board that will let them take their riding to the whole mountain. Built around the innovative directional volume twin shape it gives all the balance and control of a true twin with the float and response of a directional board. This is achieved by extending the contact points at the nose, allowing the front of the board to lift without having to sit on the back foot, whilst still retaining that balanced freestyle feel. What sets the TDF apart from most other freestyle boards and makes it so good to ride is the traditional camber profile. This gives more pop, more response and more stability - everything you need to really push the boundaries. Internally the TDF uses the new Poplar and Bamboo core; this is wrapped with tri-ax glass structural layers to give a powerful and dynamic flex both through the length and torsionally ensuring that no matter how hard you push it, this board won’t let you down. To finish off the high grade sintered base has improved wax retention durability as well as a faster glide across a wide array of snow conditions Buy Now at www.snowboard-asylum.com
