Happy Holidays, everyone! This is a revised version of a video I did several years ago. This project was originally done for a Philip Bloom Holiday/Weekend Challenge. Video, Artwork, and Editing - Victoria Taylor-Gore http://www.victoriataylorgore.com Music - "Silent Night" by Emorej Purchased music license from Jamendo.com The props for this Christmas video are from Ebay (vintage hand painted figurines from Italy), and I also used my own pastel for a background. I shot this with my Canon 7D, Tokina 16-50mm f2.8 and 100mm f2.8 macro lenses, Kessler Crane Pocket Dolly, Zacuto Z-Finder Pro 3x, and the Focus35.com Track and Skater Dolly. This was edited in Premiere Pro CS5.5 (for the revised version).

Update: - now the video has a new ending shot with the completed pastel - thanks to @planetMitch (on Twitter) of Planet5D (http://blog.planet5d.com/) for the great suggestion! I am still learning and I really appreciate constructive feedback from the community. Also thanks to Richard Harrington (http://www.richardharringtonblog.com/) for his helpful suggestions. Video, editing and artwork by Victoria Taylor-Gore http://www.victoriataylorgore.com Gallery representation: Alexandra Stevens Gallery in Santa Fe http://alexandrastevens.com/dataviewer.asp?keyvalue=13018&page=artistworks&subkeyvalue=13362 Music - "Point of No Return" by Roger Subirana Mata Music license purchased from Jamendo.com http://www.jamendo.com/en/album/24858 This is a video about how I do a pastel - a pastel filmed from start to finish. I've always called pastels "magic colored dust," and they proved to be a colorful subject. Recently I read a quote by the late Louise Bourgeois (rest in peace) that inspired my approach to this film, "I am not what I am, I am what I do with my hands..." Filmed with a Canon 7D, Tokina 16-50mm f2.8 lens, and a Tokina 100mm macro f2.8 lens - love these lenses. Edited (with no color correction, only some adjustment to the levels) in Adobe Premiere Pro CS4.

This was a short animation I did for DESI9N CONTEST, a contest hosted by RGB.VN , FPT Arena and RedCat Motion. The mission was to create a cool animation with number 9 in 10 sec duration. Idea: Design is hard work & must be ventured, you have to know before you want to do. I want to use painting guy to explain the meaning of this. He want to make a nice design on wall. Vote for me: http://videobay.vn/desi9n-contest/design9-contest-tac-pham-20 See full in here: http://www.behance.net/gallery/DESI9N-CONTEST/10254655

I was in charge in my office to produce 3 videos for a prize ceremony here in México, called "QUORUM PQ12" and the category was illustration, I ended up using one of my favorite techniques but certainly the one i almost never use because it needs lots of time to produce. I had 2 weeks to make these 3 animations of 15 seconds and well the first week i draw like crazy on Toon Boom software and the second with the help of Jorge Izaguirre and Fabiola Tejeda helped me out with tons of rothoscoping an coloring process. At the end i loved this project, kind of crazy cell animation morphs and situations like mtvs crazyness LOL. The following credits are for legal purposes:Vicepresidencia de Transmedia.
